IT’S HERE! Guys, I am SO excited to be bringing you the brand spankin’ new Coming Up Roses.
This was a much-needed upgrade, because it was just *time*. I stayed up until after 4 am to make sure everything was spick and span with my fabulous designer (call her up if you’re in need of a facelift!), and my adrenaline is through the roof because I think you’ll lovelovelove the new and improved look! I’m running on coffee and joy – the best combinatinon.
So now, I’d love to take you on a little tour of my new space. 😉
Obviously, there’s a whole new visual look goin’ on – lots of pinks and yellows, because I hope this is one heckuvah happy, rosy place to hang out on the web.
Here’s what’s the same:
I’ve still got the same categories and series in the same places, so you can search for content by scrolling through each of those until something sparks your interest.
Posts are the same, my social media is all the same…and you can follow that using those cute little pink n’ yellow circular buttons underneath my photo on the righthand side of your screen.
Here’s what’s NEW:
There’s a big ol’ slider now! Right now, recent posts are hanging out there, so you can always catch up quickly. But in the future, I may throw some oldie-but-goodie content up there that you may have missed if you’re a newer reader. So stay tuned!
On the main navigation, you’ll see a START HERE button. If you’re new to these parts, click that to learn more about me and about the blog.
Also on the main navigation is an FAQ page. That’s “Frequently Asked Questions,” folks. I figured I’d sum up some of the things that show up most often in my inbox for the sake of putting it all out there at once!
Last on main navigation is a WORK WITH ME page. There is a *lot* of content buried in here, so be sure to scroll all the way down on that page to see three options: “Brand Strategy + Development,” “Mentorship + Coaching,” and “Collaboration.” Each option has its respective description underneath, and you can click around to find the packages and opportunities that are right for you, your blog, and your business when you need it! I’ve got your back, girlfriend. (& guy friend? Do we have guys around here?)
Back to new things on the home page…there’s a little yellow box underneath that main navigation bar where you can click to get access to “The Good Stuff” – my free library of resources for bloggers and business owners. It’s a password-protected page that you get access to upon signing up; once you throw in your deets, an email will show up in your inbox with the direct link to the page, as well as the password you’ll need to view the content. This library is going to be updated weekly, so you can check back often for new goodies to think about and use in your own blog and biz!
Speaking of “The Good Stuff,” by now you might have noticed there’s a SECOND navigation menu…all the way at the top of the homepage, on the righthand side. There are three categories: E-Course, Free Class, and The Good Stuff. You already know the latter, so let’s talk about the first two.
I can’t spill details on them yet, but if you want to be in the first crew to learn what’s happening and when (hint: if you’re a blogger, you’ll especially want to be in the know on these!), you can sign up for notification and you’ll get access to The Good Stuff while you wait!
That little cart at the end of that nav bar keeps track of any coaching packages or strategy sessions that you drop in your cart. It’s like any good online shopping – pour some wine, shop around, read some good stuff, more wine, more shopping…I encourage it all. 😉
And that’s the tour!
But what’s a launch without a party amiright??? This launch party is brought to you by a whole bunch of my favorite people on the internet. We all joined forces to put over $400 worth of prizes in the pot for one super lucky chica or chico to take home. Included in the pack:
- $100 Target gift card
- $100 Starbucks gift card
- (1) 60-minute Self-Starter Strategy Call with Erica
- $50 ad space on The Samantha Show
- $20 design credit to Emily Finta Designs
- “Hot Stuff” travel mug from Sweet Water Decor
- Statement necklace from Sparkle and Whim
What do you think about Coming Up Roses’ new look? What’s your favorite new thing?
I would LOVE to hear your thoughts in a comment…I hope you love it as much as I do!
