Helloooooo summer. 🙂 We can officially kickoff some sunshine, and I am here for it. Namely because floating around in a pool sounds like a dream right about now.
1.) Hot Shot romper
‘Tis the season of Hot Shot! I’ve been *obsessed* with the Hot Shot Onesie all season long, so transitioning to the shorter romper version for summer was a no brainer. Like I said in this post highlighting some Free People Hot Shot Onesie dupe options, I still stan the real deal FP versions over any Amazon alternative or cheaper counterpart. There’s a noticeable fit/cut difference that makes it worth the roughly $30 increase in price, especially with how much I’ve been wearing it; I’ve gotten such a good cost per wear and have already had my money’s worth, for sure. The romper is less expensive than the full jumpsuit anyway, and it’s obviously better for the warmer months ahead – it’s easy, breezy, and fun while being totally bump-friendly, airy, and trendy. I wear an XS, even super pregnant!
2.) Target + Amazon cropped rib tanks
To save a few bucks on the Free People cropped tanks that pair perfectly under the Hot Shot rompers and jumpsuits, I grabbed a few from Target + Amazon to try…and turns out, I struck gold. This ribbed Target tank is SO soft and stretchy with built-in cups (a bonus). And then these from Amazon have become my fave – again, SO soft and stretchy. Only downside compared to the Target option is no built-in cups, but that can be a blessing or a curse depending on your thoughts on the matter anyway – ha! I just wear these sticky boobs with them and they’re a totally comfortable, seamless option.
3.) Moshn sneaker
I cannot sing this sneaker’s praises enough! They’re a smaller St. Louis-based shop (we lovelovelove to see it) that reached out describing their sneakers to me as “yoga pants for your feet,” and I said “say less.” Put them on…instantly sold. They’re honestly unlike any other sneaker I’ve tried because of the shape of the shoe and the way it holds your foot – I instantly noticed a difference. Which makes sense, given they’re apparently designed with what’s called a “dynamic motion technology outsole” to match the natural movement of your foot, no side-to-side rocking or rolling. So you really feel like they almost propel you forward?? ABSURDLY comfortable and my go-to for pregnancy so far – only wish is for a laceless pair since mama can’t fully bend over to tie shoes anymore. Ha!
But they’re also machine washable, breathable, durable, stain and water resistant…did I mention from a small woman-owned business?
I have the “Vigor” pair in the color “shrinking lilac.”
4.) Mocktail Club canned mocktails
Between pregnancy and this podcast episode, I’ve been on the hunt for the best mocktails + alcohol alternatives. This one takes the cake for best canned mocktail I’ve tried as of yet, hands down! The flavors are fantastic and actually complex profiles (not just, like, juice + club soda), they’re lightly sparkling, and not loaded with sugar or bad ingredients. 10/10 recommend and will continue drinking postpartum without a doubt.
A round of applause for the *entire* AirEssentials line from Spanx. Truly, sincerely phenomenal. Worth every penny. #CantStopWontStop. It started as most obsessions do – with one. I’ll just try one, she said to herself. I’ll just see what the hype is all about. There’s no WAY it’ll be THAT good, right???
Wrong.
It’s that good and then some. IDK what on earth Spanx put into this fabric, but it feels like actual heaven. It’s SO silky smooth and buttery soft – the kind you just touch out of the bag and instantly squeal with delight. Light and airy, comfortable and stretchy, luxuriously comfy. Each piece easily becomes your new go-to in its category. The quarter zip/wide leg pant combo is your favorite sweat set on steroids. The Cocoon will live at your desk, the mock neck top will be your chic workwear staple, you’ll throw on the Crew constantly. I gifted a Cocoon to Mimi for Mothers’ Day and she said, “Oh my gosh, this feels so fabulous.”

I first learned about these from one of you (hi, Crystal!) who knows I’m a huuuuge Chomps fan – your girl is all about a quality beef stick. These aren’t quite as high in protein as Chomps, but they’re 100% grass fed and 100% delicious. They’ve got a bunch of other fancy schmancy things that go into their creation, like probiotics and vitamins and omega-3s etc, and they’re paleo and keto-friendly, too. But importantly, they’re also DELISH. A fabulous snack for something filling on the go!
I finally hopped on the Native bandwagon for the OG – never going back! I mean, checks out given they’re a #1 Amazon bestseller with nearly 20,000 SOLID five-star reviews…that many people know what’s up. 😉 As a mom, I appreciate that they’re breathable, durable, and wipeable – they clean SO easily. Super simple for Liv to slip on and go, no sweaty blisters, literally made for play – so they’re a perfect summer shoe!
For the record, these were *gross* before shooting them – just all purpose cleaner and a little brush and they look brand spankin’ new, but you could use any rag/Dawn combo, a Magic Eraser…they’re SO easy.
10.) Pink Blush
I’ve been a fan of Pink Blush for YEARS, but they’re especially fabulous during pregnancy since they’ve got the BEST maternity options! What I lovelovelove most is that so many pieces are considered “bump friendly” and specifically designed to work during pregnancy AND postpartum, so it’s beautifully transitional.
This jumpsuit in particular is my current obsession (clearly on a jumpsuit kick – ha!). It’s made beautifully in a super soft, stretchy material that feels easy + breezy, so I threw it on over a cute lacy bralette and am chillin’ in 90 degree heat feelin’ fine! It’s one that should work both pregnant AND not, so I appreciate that versatility always. (I would say size DOWN if NOT pregnant!)
