And suddenly, it’s the mooooost wonderful tiiiime of the yeaaaar! 😉 I swear I opened up Instagram yesterday to an explosion of ho ho holiday cheer. This fall flew by faster than most, it seems, and we didn’t even get to cross off some of my bucket list activities (next year, corn maze!)…but it was still sweet with my lil’ bubs and the crew, and even sweeter to now whip out the Christmas decorations and deck the halls. SO MANY FAVORITES so little time – we didn’t even get to take “professional” pictures of this month’s Cool Sh*t, so enjoy this iPhone compilation of October’s greatest hits. 😉
In doing some postpartum closet purging, it was quickly clear that something needing updating was my denim. Beyond sizing alone, I had so many skinny jeans…which TikTok tells me is *not* fetch right about now. 😉 So this millennial mama wanted to grab a few current-but-classic styles. This wide leg pair from Kohl’s was an instant obsession – friends, they’re fabulous. They come already feeling like your favorite worn-in jeans – a really soft denim. And the wide leg is such a flattering fit; they’re still comfortably snug on the booty/hips, so it’s just the perfect fit top to bottom. (Here they are in motion on!)

I needed a new coffee mug like I need a whole in the head, but I OBVIOUSLY needed something with my sweet lil’ Jonah man’s mug shot. 😉 I mean, CAN YOU EVEN. I had heard rave reviews about the Doona for months, but there were also some safety concerns that left me not 100% sold. I found this one instead, which is essentially its main competitor but made by the brand that our first carseat/stroller for Olivia was from, and it seemed like it had a few innovations that made it the best, safest option. Turns out, we’re obsessed.
Essentially, it’s an all-in-one, so you can pop your carseat out and immediately transform it into a stroller (but you can also just take out the seat sans wheels if you want/need!). It’s so fast and convenient, and a ridiculously easy-to-maneuver stroller. It took maybe 3 times practicing with getting it in/out of the vehicle to feel fully confident, and now I could enter a speed competition for whipping that thing around.
We have this as Jonah’s main get up, then this as a dual option for both kids when traveling or out and about.
4.) Amazon clay cream eyeshadows
I’m always decently skeptical of cream eye products – texture and applicability really has to be there for me. And y’all…this is there for me. They’re beautifully pigmented, creamy, buildable, easy to apply and longlasting – they check all of my boxes and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying wearing them for the season. A LITTLE bit goes a loooong way, so you get great bang for your buck, and it’s a really lightweight, whippy formula that applies effortlessly with just a dab on your fingertip. (They’re foolproof!)

5.) White crew socks
Crew socks are IN – this is such an affordable pack on Amazon. They’re comfy, cute, soft, and a great throw-on-and-go option that I’ve been wearing on repeat weekly.
Olivia got Bluey trouble for her birthday…it is WILDLY fun. I hadn’t ever played Trouble in my life (I know, I know), but for a first experience this was so sweet. It’s genuinely fun for grownups, totally family friendly, and keeps my five-year-old’s attention (and really renews her competitive spirit…ha!). Would make SUCH a good gift for any Bluey-loving kiddos in your life, will get good use and make for good family fun for game night!
7.) Amazon slippers
I saw these recommended by a girlfriend of mine and instantly added to cart. They’re super cute and comfy, but beyond that, they’re made with a sherpa that feels JUST like UGGs…for a *fraction* of the price. Your feet won’t sweat inside thanks to that! They’ve also got those great indoor/outdoor soles to be slip resistant.

8.) Abercrombie sloane trousers
I wasn’t sure how I was feeling about the casual trouser trend – where you wear trousers with sneakers for a more chill, preppy look. But y’all, Abercrombie did these trousers RIGHT. I’ve worn them now both “dressier” and casually, and they just make you feel like a million bucks. The added versatility is great since you’ll get great cost per wear; wear to the office, to church, OR in that super trendy casual setting!
It’s that pair of pants you’ll invest in once and wear countless times for years to come since, in the words of T. Swift, they’ll never go out of style.

9.) Kohl’s pull-on flare jeans
Back at it again with the non-skinny jeans…and these pull-on flares are IT. They fit me even better than a $200 pair that I have from a very popular brand…and these arne’t even $40. We are HERE for the elastic waistband – and the mamas said amen. It just gives you such a good snug hug in the bum and hips so you feel freaking fabulous – and the length is flattering, too. I’ve got another wash option in my cart now!
10.) ShopRite dried mango
Not all dried mango is created equal. And the dried mango from ShopRite’s Bowl & Basket line is officially superior. Yes, I even taste tested it next to other organic dried mango – this one is so much softer and doesn’t feel like chewing on leather. HA.
It’s delish, it’s unsweetened and pure…you’ll have one bite and suddenly look up needing a restock.
