**WELCOME BACK! ICYMI, I took a blogging hiatus to celebrate Thanksgiving and get truly quality time in with the fam. And it was so. worth. it. But this rosy hub is back in action today with another Operation Beautiful, celebrating some of y-o-u and your completely beautiful-inside-and-out selves. Know someone who’s really something special? Need a virtual pickmeup yourself? I would lovelovelove to feature you in an upcoming Operation! Just fill out these four quick questions and you’ll see yourself here soon.
For 2015 and for always, you need to change.
But I’m not talking about changing your weight or your love of chocolate – I’m talking about your love of yourself. So often, we fill ourselves with self-deprecating thoughts. I’m not pretty. I’m not that smart. I’m just not that great. And I’m definitely not beautiful.
First things first: you are beautiful. And this is an operation to prove it. Introducing: Operation Beautiful. Where we celebrate the beauty in each and every one of us. Now let’s hop to it – these girlies are fan-freakin-tastic.
I feel most beautiful when…I think about all the things my body has done for me – like giving me 3 healthy, beautiful children. Also when my husband looks at me. We’ve been together for 27 years and he still looks at me the same way he did when we first met.
My favorite physical features are my…Eyes. They’re green and sparkly and they nearly disappear when I laugh, which is pretty often.
Something non-physical that I love about myself is…My sense of humor. I’m able to find the humor in just about any situation, and it makes life so much more fun!
I’m happiest when…I’m spending time with my husband and kids. My two oldest have grown up and flown the nest, so I treasure the moments when we’re all able to get together and just hang out and enjoy one another’s company.
I feel most beautiful when…My makeup is done and I’m dressed up but completely comfortable.
My favorite physical feature is my…Boobs!
Something non-physical that I love about myself is…My desire to be a better person to myself and others.
I’m happiest when…I’m with my best friend and we are hosting to a group of amazing people. Playing games and living life!
I feel most beautiful when…I’m wearing a full circle skirt with a petticoat. I love 1950’s fashion and it makes me feel like myself and beautiful.
My favorite physical feature is my…Body shape. My hour-shape figure works perfectly for the vintage fashion I love.
Something non-physical that I love about myself is…My empathy for others. Sometimes it’s stressful but I love that I’m able to empathize with others and I feel it helps me to help others.
I’m happiest when…I’m with my friends and family. I have great friends and family and I enjoy spending time with all of them.
Join the movement.
