Once Memorial Day Weekend passes, it feels like that scene from High School Musical 2 where everyone just excitedly chants summer…summer…summer…summer! Even though it won’t be summer “officially” until the 22nd, I think we’ve all got beaches on the brain and are more than ready for some fun in the sun. We’re especially ready for fun in the sun if that fun includes any weddings or other big events or parties that require a nice dress + a babysitter for the night. 😉

Long story short, someone invite your girl to a summer shindig STAT, because this bad boy needs to hit a dancefloor. We’ve got an October wedding on the calendar as of now, so I might just wear it to that since the colors could still work (I think) to a fall fiesta. What do you think?
It comes in this beautiful blue, but it also comes in a fiery red, which feels really reminiscent of everyone’s favorite dancing emoji. Both colors are total showstoppers and really flattering on all skin types + tones.
And the cut! I don’t think I’ve seen an asymmetrical hem like this before on a chiffon dress, and I’m utterly obsessed. It gives it the most fabulous flow when you walk – bring out a fan and break onto a runway, because this dress gives those kinda feels!

With any summer wedding wear, I think a few non-negotiables are a.) movability, and b.) comfort. I want my dress to be fun + flowy on the dance flor, without needing adjusting to be comfortable. Heck, it’s a wedding – everyone wants to feel beautiful + confident in their skin! And you sure as heck don’t want to be pulling a dress up or down all night long, or worrying about a nip slip or any other wardrobe malfunction.

How PRETTY is this floral number?! Another Amazon option, folks! The v-neck shows justenough without being overkill, and the hemline is the same way – sexier in the front, more conservative in the back, but a party piece all around. I’ve got a feeling it’s v twirlable on the dance floor!

Another cool option that it’s my own cart, too! This dress just strikes me – it’s unlike anything I’ve seen before. Just something about it! I lovelovelove the vertical stripes – vertical stripes elongate your figure, making you look taller. The single ruffle/peplum situation on the bottom is so cool, and I am obsessed with how it shows off your shoes. A great option for a more conservative affair, without losing the fun factor!
