Let me back up for a hot sec before flying forward together. For quite some time now, I’ve craved a deeper sense of community here for CUR. It’s been so much fun creating content + chatting individually with so many of you everyday for YEARS now (which blows my mind), and I’ve been blessed to meet so many AWESOME ladies along the way (like you!). Through that, I kept coming back to the thought…”wouldn’t it be cool if they could all meet each OTHER, too?!”
Making friends as an adult can be awkward. Finding new grownup girlfriends can suddenly transport us back to the middle school playground, which is usually just a terrifying place to be. *shudders*
Enter, the CURowd: the Coming-Up-Roses crowd. 😉 Because if you’ve been hanging out here with me for any period of time, chances are, you’ve got something in common with another sis around CUR, and I’d lovelovelove to connect the dots and create a platform to foster connections with fabulous likeminded women.
Beyond that, I’m fully aware of the fact that I don’t know everything and I haven’t been everywhere, so sometimes (read: oftentimes), you need a recommendation or piece of advice that I’m simply not equipped to give. But while I might not have personal experience in one area or another (hello parenting teenagers, traveling to Fiji, navigating dating apps as a 30-something, etc), there are other lovely ladies who DO – and that’s where you come in. 🙂
So…what can you expect from the CURowd?
Really, it’s what YOU make it. Because it’s not all about me!
The CURowd is a safe space – a group where you can come for anything + everything, whether that’s vacation inspiration, book recommendations, baby name ideas or anonymous advice. Maybe you need help choosing an outfit for an interview or first date. Maybe you’re wondering if there’s anyone else around from wherever-you’re-from. Maybe you’re seeking solidarity in sorority rushing or potty training or marriage counseling.
Whatever the case, wherever you’re at, I hope that the CURowd can be there to support, uplift, encourage and champion you through it all.
