Make Your Own Bliss List (What It Is +  What's On Mine)

As I worked on creating a more deliberate life I realized I wasn't crystal clear on one thing: what brings me bliss. Enter: the bliss list.

A Bliss List is a list of things, people, experiences, places that bring you bliss. They should be easily ,if not instantly, accessible so that you can realistically work them into any given day that needs a bit of bliss

So that tropical vacation might bring bliss, but it shouldn't be on a bliss list since the purpose is to add more joy whenever/wherever it’s needed most.

Here are a few of the things that are on mine:

Log off/disconnect. Social media is my job and sometimes I love it... but sometimes I don't. Totally disconnecting from social media brings me bliss. It re-sparks my creativity, inspires my motivation, and puts me in a better mood.

My BADA$$ playlist/go-t0 songs. One thing I'm good at making is a playlist and the linked playlist is no exception. Feel free to save it on Spotify! Also, I like to have some go-to songs that boost my mood.

Some of mine are: – Sing – Pentatonix – All I Think About is You – Ansel Elgort – Hero – Afrojack and David Guetta – Right Back Where we Started From – Maxine Nightingale

Scent. Aromatherapy is a powerful tool. I have various aromatherapy tools that I keep on hand for when I need an instant boost. See my post for more details about what I use.

Comfort shows/movies. I have a list of entertainment that I know will make me happy and bring me joy!

– Legally Blonde – How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days – When Harry Met Sally – Pretty Woman – National Treasure – The Office – Schitt’s Creek – Bridgerton – Ted Lasso – Virgin River

Put on something happy. That might be a favorite piece of clothing, a favorite fragrance, a favorite lip gloss – anything that makes you feel HAPPIER immediately.

A yummy treat. Stopping for a Starbucks, picking up a chocolate croissant, or just enjoying a chocolate with your afternoon coffee…enter, bliss.
