SUPER BOWL SNACK IDEA - 3 INGREDIENT SAUSAGE DIP

This sausage cream cheese dip is maybe one of the easiest, yummiest appetizers and one of my personal go-to’s and it's perfect for Super Bowl Sunday!

Ingredients Sausage Cream Cheese Dip – 1 tbsp olive oil – 1 pound Ground Sausage Italian or Hot, depending on your spice tolerance – 16 ounces Cream cheese – 2 cans Rotel (2 10.5 oz cans, or one 14 ounce can) Sea Salt Pita Dippers – 1 pack Stonefire naan bread – Course sea salt sprinkle to taste – Ground black pepper sprinkle to taste

Start by drizzling about a tablespoon of olive oil over a hot pan. Add your ground sausage and break it up in the pan, allowing one side to cook and start to brown before beginning to mix.

I add the cream cheese first since it needs to melt down; I’ve found it works best to give it a few minutes to soften before trying to mix anything together.

Once it’s begun to soften and melt, add your Rotel cans!

Using a nice big flat spoon, mix everything together so that the sausage is completely coated and the Rotel is dispersed evenly throughout the dip. Once completely coated, let bubble and simmer on low heat to thicken.

While your sausage cream cheese dip is finishing…time for dippers! I prefer whipping up these sea salt pita dippers instead of using tortilla chips, since this is a heartier, chunkier dip that risks breaking tortilla chips in smithereens.
