18 Transitional Spring Fashion Buys to Wear Right Now

Hello from the happiest place on Earth, where dreams come true! ICYMI, I’m currently at Disney World…which is apparently only where dreams come true, according to someone who told me my wrong on Instagram. HA. But really, I’m here for it all. This is def one of the most exciting trips of my life, since it’s all about “adult” things at Disney – so if you’re not already, get yo’self following along on Instagram (@ericaligenza) for #AllTheThings in this weekend’s activities!

Now, seeing as I went from the 40’s to the 80’s, I’m LIVING for this weather. I mean…who wouldn’t? Right about now in Orlando, it’s the epitome of what we all would consider “a perfect day” – 75 and sunny. Amazing. SO. Wanted to come atcha with some *stellar* spring-ready buys if you’re like me and now not-so-patiently waiting for April showers + May flowers. I’ve rounded up 18 transitional pieces that you could/should buy now, since you can actually WEAR them right now too…all the way through warmer weather. #bless

Many of these (actually most) I have myself already, so I can 100% speak to their awesomeness. If you have any Q’s on sizing or any other general Q’s along the way as you #AddToCart, shoot me an email, Instagram DM, etc (call me beep me if ya wanna reach me) – more than happy to help, friends!

It’s the mooooost popular dressssss of all tiiiiiiiime! This dress was selling out left + right in all different colors last season, and for good reason. (I’m a poet and I know it. 😉 ) It’s the most *flattering* thing, on pretty much any body type. The ruching is slimming, + it’s a super easy throw-on-and-go kinda dress. AKA MY kinda dress. I have the tank version in two colors and ordered the long sleeve version in grey!

I’ve been living in this casual clementine cutie for the past few weeks now – and y’all loveloveloved it on Instagram not too long ago! It’s cozy enough while it’s still cold out, but the colors brighten everything up and get ya thinking about s-p-r-i-n-g. Runs big, FYI!

I just recently added these ponte pants to my closet, and I’m oh so glad I did. They’re basically the perfect pant. First off, they’re comfy AF. Second, they can be dressed up or down – they’ve the most versatile pant in your closet. Third, they’re affordable given that you’ll wear them so stinkin’ much. Fourth, they’re just like a dressier version of leggings. Fifth, did I mention they’re comfy AF? You need them, PONTEblankperiod. 😉

Guess who’s back back back, back again…these bow babies! I couldn’t resist ’em last year and am SO thrilled they’re back again for round two. They’re seriously some of the most comfortable shoes in my closet! SUPER easy to wear all day long, cute enough to WANNA wear all season long, + a versatile enough color to match everything springy thing in sight.

My most recent splurge. 😉 It’s trendier, but it’s SUCH a fun take on a classic jean jacket. This girl can’t resist a good pearl! I wore this to the airport yesterday and was STOPPED for outfit details. Size down one, as it’s V oversized (I got an XS!)

The prettiest purple hue! Represent Pantone’s color of the year – ultraviolet! – in a springy-colored sweater. This would look cute with denim of ANY wash, white jeans, a cute mini-skirt…the options are endless, folks.

If I had to choose one type of clothing to wear forevermore, I think it’d be rompers/jumpsuits. They’re just the perfect power piece! This lil’ romper is only $32, has longer sleeves, and would look SO cute with your favorite over-the-knee boots that you’ve had on repeat.

While in NYC for New York Fashion Week, I walked into the Rebecca Minkoff Soho store and literally GASPED. How cute are these?!?!?! I couldn’t NOT take them home with me. Bonus points because they’re actually *hella* comfortable. They work with actually ANY outfit. Skirts, dresses, pants, capris, shorts…anything goes. Comes in a gorgeous mint green + black, too!

You might’ve caught my lil’ demo of this fun top on Instastories last week…ICYMI, this top is REVERSIBLE!!! Seriously! It’s designed to be worn frontways OR backways. One side is crewneck while the other is a V-neck. Both are super cute + chic and make it like you’re getting two tops for the price of one. #bless. Comes in 2 stripe options + 2 solids, too!

Y’all FLIPPED for this fun cobalt number on my Instastories while at NYFW, and for good reason. Ain’t it the cutest?! If I was able to wear it with OTK boots in the middle of February in Manhatten (so, COLD), it def makes for a great transitional piece to wear right now and all the way through May. Would look just as cute with dainty heels or your fave wedges!

A good utility jacket is an *essential* transitional piece, especially heading into spring. Perfectly paired with a look just like styled above, actually…white jeans + colorful shoes!

This is a *fab* subtle statement top. I know I know, “subtle statement” seems contradictory. But the colors keep it PG in pastels for springtime, but the back – OH THE BACK. Brace yo’self and #AddToCart. 😉 I got this gem myself and can’t wait to pair with high waisted denim + cute wedges (like these cult classics from last year that are back, of course, again!)

A good suede mini always does the trick. This one would look adorbs paired with over-the-knee boots or tights, even, right now, and will transition *perfectly* into warmer weather with bare legs + heels.

Even tho I don’t have this top myself (yet), I feel like I do for the amount of times I’ve seen it pop up in my recommended items online. HA. It’s a suuuuuper cool neckline that’s basically convertible, so you can wear it a bajillion different ways to mix up your look. Cowl neck, pulled down over your shoulders for a more off-shoulder look – the more the merrier. The blush option is a PERFECT color for now, but there are 8 other options to choose from if blush doesn’t float your boat. 😉

I think yellow is going to be THE color of the season, and I ain’t mad about it. How cute are these pants, tho?!?! NEED. Everything about ’em just *screams* springtime. They’re the easiest way to still FEEL warm (pair with a light sweater on top, cardigan, etc) while LOOKING super cool. BONUS: Now 40% off with code HAPPY

White jeans are like the ultimate signal of springtime. This cut is called the “rockstar” variety – they’re one of my all-time faves. The black distressed version is the pair I wear + post all the time, because they’re just so dang COMFY…they’re a suuuuper soft denim that doesn’t even feel like denim! These are only 32 bucks, so they’re a perfect classic to pick up STAT.

VOILA.

What spring fashion pieces are you ready to add to your closet?

If you end up picking up any of the above, let a sistah know – we can be twins! WOO!

Happy weekend, friends! Any fun plans??? If ya need me, I’ll be at Cinderella’s Castle. 😉
