Let’s go through my trash! Woo! One of my personal favorite things to peek through is other people’s garbage. Not in a weird way – just in a what-beauty-products-are-worth-finishing kinda way. BEAUTY SLEEP OVERNIGHT LIP MASK
Really did not like this lip mask. It felt weirdly grainy and thin…pass. Get this one or this one (discount code ERICA20) instead!
I went through this stuff fast. That’s my only complaint – it’s like lighting a $20 on fire. HA. But it’s a fabulous feeling lip balm with fabulous ingredients, so you’ll lovelovelove the feel – and they come in tints now, too! (My Tarte discount code ERICA will get you 15% off your whole order!)
PHYSICIANS FORMULA ORGANIC WEAR LIP TREATMENT
Probably my very favorite drugstore lip balm. Most definitey cleaner ingredients than any “ChapStick” or other similarly branded balms, so worth it for that alone!
All I know is I used this stuff up pretty dang fast for it to be a $28 lip balm…I probably wouldn’t recommend it for that one reason. I’d grab this five-star-rated one instead (and code THRIVE20 will take 20% off at checkout!).
MISS MOUTH’S MESSY EATER STAIN TREATER
The most mindblowing stain remover I’ve seen – makes strawberry stains disappear before your very eyes, before even throwing in the washing machine. Wizardry!!!
KIRKLAND SIGNATURE DAILY FACIAL TOWELETTES
While I try to not buy makeup wipes anymore since they’re not exactly “clean” or that great for your skin, I like having these on hand for quickies because they do work decently well!
I had an obnoxiuosly huge bottle of this stuff for so long, I just had to use it up at this point. Ha! But I wouldn’t repurchase because it’s *strong*…it’s called a mild and “gentle” formula, but it just smells strongly of alcohol to me, so I always felt like it’s stripping my skin. I’d recommend this stuff instead – it’s a gentle chemical exfoliant to unclog pores and all that gunky stuff!
LIVING PROOF PERFECT HAIR DAY DRY SHAMPOO
My #1 ride or die dry shampoo. Always a repurchase! Actually CLEANS your hair without just adding a chalky texture, and doesn’t leave white residue behind. (More dry shampoos for brunettes reviewed here!)
Another ride or die! This stuff is the real deal. I’m obsessed. An always repurchase. L’OREAL VOLUMINOUS LASH PARADISE BASE
Not my favorite mascara primer – it gets pretty thick/clumpy on me. I prefer this drugstore primer instead…but this one is my fave.
I loveloveLOVE this mascara. It gives such great volume AND length without clumps or flakes. There are probably 3 more in my stash ready to go, so I’m stocked up. 😉 Code ERICA will take 15% off!
DR. ZENOVIA 10% GLYCOLIC ACNE CONTROL PEEL PADS (SOLD OUT)
These were decent peel pads, not my favorite, but sold out anyhoo…so I’m glad they weren’t my favorite. Ha! But if you DO wanna know my favorite…it’s these, hands down. Literally like having 75 spa-strength facials in a tub. And code ERICA20 will getcha 20% off!
BURT’S BEES MAMA BEE BELLY BUTTER
Not sure if this stuff is WHY I didn’t get stretch marks this pregnancy, because I know there are multiple variables that impact that, but I did finish it up and didn’t have any marks. So take that for what it is! I do really like that it’s a clean formula, loaded with shea butter + other good ingredients. So, overall a great drugstore option – throw one in her baby shower gift basket!
A great powder bronzer. Not orangey – just a pretty, subtle, natural-looking bronze glow. My Tarte code works on this, too! Woo!
This shampoo wasn’t my favorite – my hair felt a bit oddly stripped and rubbery after shampooing with it, where it definitely needed the conditioner immediately after. Especially given the price point for the size (the bottleneck top empties so quickly), I would pass.
NEXXUS CLEAN & PURE CONDITIONER
That being said, the matching conditioner was decent enough – it made my hair feel considerably softer after shampooing.
NATIVE BODY WASH in CASHMERE & RAIN
I’ve been a big, big fan of Native’s body washes for years – they’re pretty clean formulas that smell FABULOUS. I always like having one in our shower and rotate their seasonal scents!
NAKERY BEAUTY SKINRESTORE BODY & HAND WASH in ROSE & ROMANCE
This was a really lovely, sulfate-free, plant-based body wash that smelled beautiful. This particular scent was definitely more floral, but I’m wanting to try some of their others because the scent profiles are pretty unique. I’ve got this one in my cart!
