COOL SH*T I LOVELOVELOVE, Monthly Favorites – April 2025

April was a delight in so many ways – and looking through this list of favorites reflects that for me. While it had so many hard moments, too, I found genuine *joy* in finding these faves and delighting in them daily. Whatever your month held and whatever this month brings, may you find joy in some of them, too. 🙂

1.)  Our Place titanium pots + pans

It’s no secret we’ve been big Our Place fans…the Always Pans, Perfect Pots, + oven set has seen many a favorites post and has been what we’ve used in our house for years now.

But their new titanium line recently launched.

And it’s a gamechanger.

J swears he’ll never buy or use another cookware set (he’s the chef in our house). It’s got a new no-coating nonstick technology – the first-ever of its kind that’s coating-free and made without PFAS (aka those nasty “forever chemicals”). Stainless steel exterior, durable titanium interior (making it virtually indestructible), and it’s so SLEEK.

We have the regular size pan, the smaller pan, and the pot, and lovelovelove all of the above! (Ours is the titanium + gold!)

BONUS: Their big spring sale is happening now! Up to 30% off SITEWIDE – great time to grab a Mother’s Day or Father’s Day gift, or to just upgrade your own set!

2.) Lemonade + strawberry acai proteins

TikTok shop did it again! These protein powders came across my FYP, and I was intrigued – a.) because I’m trying to add as much protein into my day as possible, and b.) these sounded like a refreshing alternative to traditional protein powder smoothies.

Turns out, they’re delightfully refreshing and delish. I mean, sign me up for an ice cold lemonade in the middle of summer that has no added sugar AND 20g protein!!! The strawberry acai is giving Starbucks Pink Drink.

I love mixing with coconut water for an electrolyte AND protein-packed drink that tastes just as good (ahem, better) than any sugary sweet counterpart.

3.) Cheese grater

OK this thing is SO STINKIN’ COOL…it’s the kindof kitchen accessory you poo-poo on until you have it and then you can never NOT have it, you know? Instantly (literally) grate any block of cheese into perfect shreds. It’s the easiest hand crank – you can get an entire block down in what feels like 30 seconds because it’s so simple. Makes for the best freshly-shredded cheese!

And comes with an attachment so that you can choose your shred size.

We use for fresh shred on eggs, homemade pizza, you name it! This is a totally blurry screenshot of a video from my phone to show it in action, but look at this bad boy go! Couldn’t be simpler!

4.) Amazon FP PJ dupe

No joke, I had the Free People version in my cart and just couldn’t bring myself to drop $100 on satin pj’s.

But then I saw the Amazon version…and gasped. They’re identical. Literally identical. I put the Free People pair on the right of me below…THEY ARE THE SAME! But the FP version is $98…and mine are not. Ha!

They’re my current happy jammies because they make me feel chic and fun and I just lovelovelove them okay?!?

5.) Patricia Nash bags

Mimi and I had the honor of attending a 15 year anniversary celebration of Patricia Nash designs x QVC a few weeks back, and what a lovely event. We were both SO impressed with these bags…the quality is so clear, it makes it painfully obvious what a good leather bag should be (and why it’s a worthy investment for any wardrobe!).

We agree the overall thoughtfullness and intention behind each bag is what really stands out (we joked together that these bags were obviously designed by a woman because it’s got all the important features!). The leather is stunning. But the interior structure and pocketing is SO clutch (mine has an inner zippered compartment with room on each side, as well as pockets for your phone and lipbalm etc, and an exterior zipper compartment, too!). They’ve got legs on the bottom to keep it clean and upright, they’ve got removable crossbody straps…check, check, aaaaand check!

The kinda bags you have for decades before passing onto your daughter.

6.) Truly Free (discount code: ERICAG for 30% off)

I was recently #influenced to try this totally clean, non-toxic brand of home and cleaning products after learning more about the kinds of chemicals in many of the most popular store brands. They pride themselves on radically transparent ingredient lists and NO toxic chemicals. Every single formula is free from SLS, dyes, hormone disruptors, potential carcinogens…you name it, if it’s bad it ain’t in it! All safe for families, babies, and pets, made to work just as well as (if not better than) the most popular store brands. Plus, their packaging is refillable + reusable!

I’m currently using their scented laundry wash (plant-based, no toxins, gentle ingredients, scents via essential oils!), as well as their dishwasher soap (nature-powered enzymes with non-toxic anti-spotting and anti-filming agents!) and everyday cleaner (their version of a non-toxic all-purpose!).

Truly Free is just an awesome company made by awesome people on an awesome mission. I stan.

They also so kindly passed along code ERICAG for us to get 30% off (!!!) anything, so if you’ve been meaning to clean up your household product game and/or need to restock some essentials, consider this your sign!

Beyond that, they have a few special/exclusive deals happening right now for a limited time, so I wanted to pass along in case they help…! Here you can claim 100 free loads of laundry in their current laundry detergent deal, and here you can get 50 free dishwasher loads with your order! (Each of those is specific deal pages, so you have to checkout specifically on that page to get that respective deal!).

7.) The Uzzle game

J found this game and it quickly became a family favorite. Personally, I am obsessed (and I’m very, very good at it. New talent unlocked!).

Especially great for neurodivergent brains, apparently! The concept is simple: you flip a card and then have to match the image on the picture with the blocks in front of you. Feels a bit like a flat Rubix cube but more fun?

8.) Acrylic polaroid magnets

We have a few of these on our fridge with a shot from each Christmas Eve from the past 3 years, and it’s so sweet to see everyday with polaroid snapshots of our growing family. Super cost effective for a pack – you can split it with a girlfriend!

And this is the little camera I use for these shots…OBSESSED with using it for capturing everyday moments!

9.) BOOKS FROM FRIENDS: Underestimated, Healing Rest, All the Things I Say to God

A few friends of mine all launched books this month, and they’re so good and I’m so proud of them!

Underestimated…phew. My friend Mary has a way with words and is SO dang smart – this book tackles fear head on in ways you didn’t even know you needed. If you’ve struggled with imposter syndrome, perfectionism, procrastination, overthinking, self-sabotage, or maybe you’re equally afraid of success as failure…it’s truly a must read. My copy is full of highlights and I cried.

Healing Rest is a beautiful, grace-filled guide especially great for my fellow mamas in need of *a moment*. It’s full of rest that can only come from the Creator of Rest. But it’s real, and it’s relatable and actually realistic…yes, even for you. 😉

All the Things I Say to God is the most precious children’s book – one of my favorites I’ve seen in reading to my kids these 6.5 years so far. (The first time we read it, Olivia actually read it all by herself TO me, which shocked me because it’s a longer book that’s above kindergarten reading level, and she loved it.) But the message and lessons are good for kids and grownups alike. I teared up on page 17. And Olivia started spontaneously praying the other day and said she was doing it “like Abby,” the main character of the book, so it’s a true gem with real fruit.

10.) Gracie Binion

Think Gracie Abrams, but Jesus music. Something clicked so hard in my brain when I heard that, and I am now obsessed with this gal’s music! So if you, like me, are a Gracie Abrams fan AND Jesus fan, consider this your new musical hyperfixation.
