COOL SH*T I LOVELOVELOVE – Monthly Favorites, March 2022

Happiest APRIL to you, sweet friends! Here’s hoping PA gets its act together and puts sub-50 days behind us now…spring should be here to stay, amiright? Ironically, the day we took these pictures, it was actually FREEZING outside and I switched right back to sweats after running around in this precious dress because ‘TWAS COLD, YO. But now that it’s heating up for good for many of us, feel free to add to cart + enjoy to the fullest. 😉 From custom Little Words Project bracelets (+ a discount code! Yay!) to actually deliciuos protein bars and my new favorite sports bra, this month’s Cool Sh*t is a real treat.

COOL SH*T I LOVELOVELOVE - Monthly Favorites, March 2022 on Coming Up Roses

Thriving mug

The newest addition to the THRIVING Collection: meet the mug! It’s the last day to grab one where 50% of proceeds go to the incredible Ukrainian organization, Voices of Children. The mug’s entire interior is pink (bless) + it’s printed double-sided, which means it’s fabulous gift idea for anyone/everyone who needs a little bit more thriving in life. 🙂

TJMaxx denim dress

HOW FREAKING CUTE, AMIRIGHT?! The second I saw this little number in stores, I got giddy. It’s just darling for spring, and it’s finally online so that you can shop it, too – bless up. Can’t decide which detail I lovelovelove most: the ruffled sleeves, the flattering length, or the pockets. It’s also got smocking in the back for a great flexible, comfortable fit.

And it’s not even $20!!!! I’m wearing size small, for reference.

Bottega dupe Amazon sunglasses

These $15 Amazon sunnies look literally *identical* to this $400 designer pair. Talk about an incredible look for less! They’re comfortable and SO chic…I feel approximately 10x cooler than I really am wearing them. Total badass glasses.

Life in Lilac diffusers

I am in awe of the company Jenn has created – she’s just incredible. Life in Lilac is such a beautiful brand; her candles are clean and smell FABULOUS, and she just launched some accompanying diffusers, too! Yet to dislike a scent – they’re complex and captivating.

Lilac Converse

Because OBVIOUSLY. My white pair has been on repeat since purchasing back in the Nordstrom Sale; they’re one of the most comfortable pairs of sneakers in my closet, with memory foam platform soles that make being on your feet all day a breeze (You could wear them to Disney World! They’re that comfy!). So when I saw they came out with this pretty lilac pair, I knew they were just the thing spring needed. 😉

Colourpop Rock Candy palette

Colourpop is yet to make a bad palette. They’re such an underrated affordable beauty brand, and these palettes are no exception – beautifully formulated and greatly pigmented. This shade range especially feels so pretty for the season, with so many lavenders and lighter neutrals for a fresh, feminine look. I’m still shook at the price…$34 for 30 shades. And a great mix to go from day to night, everyday to fancy, the whole nine yards.

Custom Little Words Project bracelets

OK OK I know Little Words Project has been a past month’s favorite…but they’re back back again, because I just got three new ones for my stack that are totally CUSTOM, and I am not over them yet. (I got “Holy Boldness” for my words of 2022, “Figureoutable,” and my words of 2021: “Less is More”). Really, a custom beaded bracelet from Little Words Project makes the *sweetest* gift, be that for your besties, your mom, sister, kid’s teacher, whomever…it’s a small but sincere way to make her smile with something so genuine, and I just lovelovelove that.

Also lovelovelove that they gave us code BBERICA15 so that you can get 15% off your own Little Words Project order – WOO!

Soma sports bra

If you’ve been around here for a hot sec, you probably know my lovelovelove for Soma runs deeeeeep. From the Enbliss wireless bra to the Cool Nights pajamas and the Vanishing Edge undies, so many of my most-recommended things are from Soma. Now add another to the list: this sports bra.

It’s says “medium impact” but I think it would still suffice for higher impact workouts; it’s snug without being too tight or causing sore shoulder (ain’t nobody got time). It’s breathable, the pads are removable, and it’s moisture-wicking for workouts. And it’s currently BOGO 50% off!

Fitcrunch bars

When I first got these in the mail to try, I was SKEPTICAL. I mean, most protein bars taste like actual cardboard. They’re typically kinda chalky in texture and do not taste like a yummy treat to cherish, but rather, something to choke down to get those #gains. Right? RIGHT. NOT THESE. J and I opened one to share on a drive and both were SHOCKED. Had to whip out the wrapper and investigate, because they taste…actually delicious. Like dessert that just so happens to be loaded with 22 grams of protein per bar.

Granted, they are higher in saturated fat than many other protein bars I’ve seen, but they’re lower in sugar and made by a real chef. A TREAT post-workout especially. We’re fans. I also managed to snag code ERICAL15 which should work for 15% off your order, if you, too, want non-cardboard protein bars in your stash! 😉

Bridgerton Season 2

Dearest readers…you’ve binged, have you not? I think I still like Season 1 more, but Season 2 did not disappoint (although I will say, I was increasingly frustrated until things resolved around end of episode 7…but no spoilers. 😉 ). The tension + chemistry between Antony and Kate is top-notch, and CLEARLY they belong together.
