February’s favorites came in on a Leap Year…it’s only fitting that March’s are made during a total solar eclipse. 😎 I’m playing perpetual catch up lately, so last month’s Cool Sh*t AND Amazon finds are all comin’ atcha today + tomorrow…get ready! They’re well worth the wait, pinky promise. First up, FAVORITES!
I honestly feel like I’ve lived in two worlds for the past two months: Earth and Midgard. (IYKYK). And honestly…I prefer Midgard. 😉 I’ve been breezing through Sarah J. Maas’ Crescent City series after ACOTAR completely rocked my world and re-ignited my lovelovelove of reading for fun; CC is definitely a bit grittier slash grown up comparatively, but I’m just forever in awe of SJM’s writing and worldbuilding abilities. She made me love fantasy – and I used to literally scoff at the notion. Now older-wiser Erica is hiding from adulting and responsibilities by locking myself in the bathroom with my Kindle. Don’t tell. 😉 JK JK I don’t do that…
2.) Petal & Pup haul (20% off code: ERICALIGENZA20)
Sometimes boutique dresses especially are hit-or-miss for me…often miss because anything labeled “mini” barely covers my booty and quality just isn’t there. They end up feeling like overpriced Amazon dresses. But I hit the jackpost with the few Petal & Pup dresses I found for spring! (Code ERICALIGENZA20 should take 20% off your entire order at checkout!)
This one is super on trend right now (but still classic, which we lovelovelove) – the puff sleeve is such a pretty feminine detail, the length is versatile to dress up for church or down with little sneakers, and my personal favorite part…it’s got STRETCH! It’s not a rigid, stiff denim – au contraire, it’s lightweight and literally stretchy. SO supremely comfortable.
This one has got such fun, flattering flow and swing to it! I ordered up one size (wearing a Medium) to ensure it was long enough on me; the tie at the waist accounts for any extra body if you also size up, so it worked out so well.
OK OK obviously not a dress BUT I’d be remiss to not mention this pullover…it’s absurdly good. The snaps are at such a good place and it feels cozier/softer than your average crewneck sweatshirt.
I had been hearing rave reviews about this stuff, most notably that it’s a drugstore dupe for this stuff from Charlotte Tilbury. If you follow along on Stories, maybe you caught my first impression on camera – it’s so good. Like, SO freaking GOOD! It gives you the most stunning glow; I layered this foundation serum or my tinted SPF over top of the Elf halo glow filter for a lightweight face that’s perfect for that dewy spring or summer day. You can wear it by itself, too…but here’s everything I use for an easy full face on “no makeup” makeup days!
Let me be the first to say it: I was skeptical. Chelsie and I picked up a few in the Old Navy outlet while they were on sale – we were surprised in the best sense. It’s “cropped” but NOT TOO cropped – my belly button is covered! It’s a miracle! And all the millennials said amen! It’s actually the *perfect* length to pair with anything higher waisted, because it hits at the exact right spot without then having extra fabric to tuck in or bunch up etc.
The top is a really flattering higher cut. I have a similar tank from Target but admittedly like this one more – and a few of you in my DMs said the same! I’ve already got more colors in my cart and have been wearing on repeat as a layering piece until it warms up officially, at which point I’ll just be rocking them all summer.
Super size inclusive in a TON of fun colors + neutral options for wear-alone and layering needs all season long!
5.) Aerie hoodie
You know that perfect beach hoodie? Where it’s lightweight-but-cozy, stretchy and soft, a bit waffled and totally comf? THIS IS IT. The stretch on this one is NUTS – it’s absurdly comfortable. Chalk it up to another find from my BFF shopping spree with Chels – what can I say? We truly struck gold! This is so fabulously soft and stretchy, it’ll be the hoodie you reach for all season long for something cozy-but-light.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Size DOWN a few! I typically wear smalls but am wearing an XXS here (seriously), so it definitely runs BIG!
BONUS: It’s our lucky day…60% off right now!!!!
6.) Fairlife chocolate protein shakes
We picked up a pack of these at Costco and have since rebought twice! I lovelovelove that there’s 30 grams of protein per shake, and they taste DELISH. A decently clean ingredient label, too.
7.) Kate Spade crossbody + Kate Spade backpack
Happy birthday to me. 😉 Meet my birthday month treats, courtesy of the Kate Spade outlet near me! I first bought the pink crossbody out with Chelsie (surprise, surprise – she’s the best influence 😉 ). It’s a gorgeous pebbled leather but still feels casual thanks to the striped strap; it’s a perfect size for my phone, keys, wallet, lippy, kindle, and a diaper/wipes, too.
I scored this gorgeous kelly green backpack on a little girls’ day outing with Mimi + the OG! Isn’t she pretty?! The size is perfect, but the nylon material even moreso. It easily just wipes clean – and the mamas said amen. I’m so glad I found it online for y’all…it’s still on sale AND has an extra 20% off code available right now, so you get an INSANE discount!
8.) Amazon sunnies
These under-$20 Amazon sunnies look nearly IDENTICAL to this $550 designer pair. Clearly why they’re currently the #1 bestselling women’s sunglasses on all of Amazon! They’re so chic and so comfortable on, besides being flattering on multiple face shapes. Made well and sturdy, too!
Everyone’s favorite non-toxic perfume, now in a convenient roller ball! This is a no brainer to me. Even though the full-size bottles are still technically TSA-approved in size, I’d much rather safe space in my toiletry bag on the go with a slim little roller. They have each scent in this offering now, too, AND my code (THRIVE20) will getcha a sweet lil’ discount at checkout. 😉
ICYMI: my thoughts on DIME’s rumored Baccarat Rouge 540 dupe perfume (spoiler alert: it’s my favorite).
10.) Eastern Standard Provision soft pretzels
OK OK so I first found these at Costco weeks ago but then they disappeared there and I’m UPSET ABOUT IT. Y’all. These soft pretzels are phenomenal. Such a random find, I know. But they’re 100000x better than the Superpretzel brand and hit the spot in every sense. They bake fast and fabulously, you can add your own salt, the nuggets in the pack GIVE – our whole fam was hooked, Mimi & Papa included, and we finished off the entire box way too fast.
