HEYYYYOOOOO, Friday! You’ve been missed. I actually can’t believe the end of the week is here already – maybe it’s from all the traveling this week, but I swear it was just last Friday? Not a bad feeling to have, I know. 😉 A CRAZY feeling is knowing that Memorial Day weekend is right around the friggin’ corner. That means we’re basically halfway through 2018. I know. It’s fine. So today, we’re gettin’ in that long weekend spirit with over 100 patriotic picks for what to wear for MDW, regardless of what your plans might be (there are even red/white/blue PAJAMAS in case your plans just involve some vino + a couch).

But first, quick backstory on this photoshoot from my time in Salt Lake City with my girls.

This shoot was done at none other than East High – the real East High – where the movie High School Musical was filmed back in 2006.

Middle school Erica was LIVING.

We shot all around the campus, but then went around back (where these shots were taken), and I had this gut instinct that a door would be open. Mind you, doors were locked everywhere else, which we know because tourists come all the time to try and sneak inside, to get a peek at Sharpay’s pink locker, to just walk where Zac Efron trod – you know you’d do it, too. 😉

But I just had THIS FEELING that this one specific door was open.

So I went to open it.

AND IT OPENED.

And there we were, in East High, right in the room where “Stick to the Status Quo” happened. So make sure ya scroll to the end to catch that proof. 😉

This look just *screamed* ‘Murica to me! has the caaaaautest red/white/blue bow sleeves, which is obvi fitting. It’s only $13 – def not the highest quality piece I’ve gotten from Shein before, but it’s so cute for the season and will last through at least that, I think! Wouldja believe me if I said are none other than Dr. Scholl’s?!?! YUP. And they’re CUTE, amiright??? Dr. Scholl’s has been *majorly* stepping up their style game as of late, and I’m her for it. Namely cos ain’t nobody got time for uncomfy shoes, and this girl moves it + grooves it. They work with everything from jeans to shorts, and even skirts/dresses, so they’re a really cute option for spring/summer!

Once I got to researching the most ‘Murica things I could find for this coming Memorial Day (it’s at the end of this month – are you ready?!), I fell into a deep, dark spiral of the red/white/blue. It was vast. It was intense. It was as bottomless as a good margarita.

For patriotic stripes, Shein has a ton (I lovelovelove Shein – trendier pieces, AMAZING prices, and I have not had bad experiences with quality!!). This , this , + these are all winner winner chicken dinners.

is uber patriotic, and also UBER SOFT. I own approximately not enough Wildfox sweatshirts (I think I have 3-4 by now?) and in the words of The Greatest Showman, it’s never enough is fitting for MDW AND OVER HALF OFF AT NORDSTROM RACK LIKE WHAT.
