Aaaaaaaand with that, we’re halfway through the last week in September. Which means we’re that much closer to the 34 brand spankin’ new Christmas movies being dropped by the Hallmark Channel + Netflix this year. Who’s stoked? THIS GIRL. Oh, and also having a baby. Cos there’s that. WOW, TIME. I’m dropping in from Florida this morning – here for one last frolic before fall (review of our resort coming Friday!). And really, sign me up for 3 more mommy-to-be massages kthnx. 😉 I’m about to eat a cinnamon roll the size of my face and try to figure out how the heck it’s almost OCTOBER. As long as fall takes it’s sweet time and sticks around ALAP (as long as possible – should we make it trend? ha!), I’ll be a happy camper.
Doin’ it per usual today with 10 monthly favorites – and per usual again, many of these favorites have been faves for waaaaaaay longer than one month. Which is goody good good, since then they’ve got a BIG stamp o’ approval.
P.S. Before hopping right in, wanna also shoutout the HUUUUUGE Shopbop Sale happening now – you can save 20-25% off SO MANY BRANDS with code STOCKUP18, so if you’ve had any fall goodies in cart (or any designer goodies, since Shopbop has SO MANY OMG), now’s the time to treat yo’self!
1.) (in Bumble)
I’m honestly ashamed that it’s taken me THIS DANG LONG to get on the ColourPop bandwagon. I mean, that wagon has left the station *long ago*, and this girl is just now buying her ticket and getting on board. Get it together, E. Y’all. I am so beyond impressed. It 100% lives up to the hype. Word on the liquid lipstick street is that this stuff is the exact same stuff that Kylie Jenner’s fancy schmancy lip kits are formulated from. Like…same factory, same formula, different packaging, different pricetag. 😉 No clue if that’s true or not since I don’t own a single thing from Kylie’s line, but this CP lippy comes in at a ripe $6.50 (whereas Kylie lip kits are $29).
The formula is goooooood. What I lovelovelove is that it’s a.) relatively easy to apply in the liquid lippy department, b.) suuuuper longlasting, c.) NOT drying. The one lone shade I have so far (tho not lone for long…) is Bumble, and while it’s noted as being “warm rose” online, I think it’s a bit darker on and def works as a fall shade. Would you agree?
2.)
If you’re a ~details~ gal like me, you may have noticed me wearing the same jewelry brand for what feels like forever now. LAGOS has been one of my *favorite* jewelry brands for quite some time now, namely because all of their pieces are just so stunning – but also because I feel like the brand totally embodies my personal style in the jewelry department. I’m girly x edgy in pretty much errrr’thaaaang in life – and their pieces run the gamut of just that. I’ve got my daintier, pretty single pearl necklace for a more subtle feminine flair, and then I’ve got something like this ring to add some edge to everyday. It’s from their new KSL line, which is a pretty edgy line for them, and quite frankly, I’m obsessed. I’ve been a fan of LAGOS’ caviar-style embellishments since I first laid eyes on ’em, so I lovelovelove that this ring has the edgier pyramid detail overtop of a caviar-beaded band.
3.) Sweet Mint Handmade fall mugs
These bad boys first popped up on my Instagram feed, and I just KNEW I’d end up drinking PSLs outta ’em in no time. I mean, basic betches unite amiright??? They’re too friggin’ cute! Chloe’s shop is my new obsession. Her seasonal selections are outta this world. Get ahead on Christmas with . And . And .
They’re a bit bigger than your usual 12 oz. mug, which I *so* appreciate as a caffeinated chica. These make SUCH good giftables, too – she’s got the cutest collections, from gifts for engaged couples to dog lovers to photographers or your mom. Just when you thought your mug cabinet couldn’t get any more full…
P.S. Drop code INSTA15 at checkout for a SWEET discount. Get it? 😉
4.) Wendy’s Spicy Chicken Caesar Salad
OH LAWD. This could’ve/should’ve/would’ve been a favorite loooooong ago, seeing as it’s been in my weekly lunch routine for maybe a year+ now???? I literally get this salad once a week! And for 6 bucks, it’s a steal, because it’s easily shared by two people, too. If you follow along on Instastories, YOU KNOW the Wendy’s lovelovelove is oh so real. Maybe too real? But I mean at least it’s a salad. And I also get a free mini Frosty with my keytag every visit but it’s mini so it doesn’t count. 😉
I’m *such* a Wendy’s girl. Their salads are just bombdotcom, I think – they’re always so fresh, and the chicken is legit warm right on top, and I’m just such a fan. Wendy’s, pls sponsor me kthnx. 🙂
5.)
I just discovered this fun lil’ brand on Instagram this season, and MAN OH MAN – too friggin’ cute. For all of your monogrammed fall dreams – United Monograms is where it’s at, yo. I got two cute crewneck pullovers (this , and this !), a long-sleeve tee, and then a monogrammed weekender bag from them recently; and I HAVE to share these sweatshirts with ya. They’re big, they’re cozy, they’re monogrammed, they’re fall-themed and/or coffee-themed…they’re just a big fat yes for cozy nights in with the new season of This is Us or pretending to watch Football Sunday’s with your man. 😉 Also any caffeinated sweatshirt is currently on super sale for $14.97, sooo now is 100% the time to TREAT YO’SELF to some festive fall sweatshirts with monograms and coffee and pretty colors justbecause.
6.)
You guys know I’ve talked about Olay’s Whips before – and I’m actually a part of their Fearless Squad for the next year, which is one of the biggest honors and one of my proudest moments of the past five YEARS of CUR, forrealz. But I have to repeat the lovelovelove for their Whips, because it’s just. that. good.
This one in particular has been on my bathroom sink as part of my morning routine for a few months now; the fact that it’s their regenerist line means it’s fabulous for any/all anti-aging concerns. It’s got SPF, which is – of course – an essential to start every single morning, regardless of whether or not the sun is shining. And it’s formulated to be so insanely light + fast-absorbind that you can *literally* use it as a makeup primer. And it legit ~works~ as such – there’s no greasy residue after! I shared my Everyday Makeup Routine in a big blog post earlier this month, along with a quick lil’ video to show a comparison blot test of Whips at work so you can see how fast it truly absorbs, since I didn’t even believe it myself – and I had to just PROVE it to ya. 😉
7.)
I always feel like I have 32 toiletry + travel bags on hand since they’re such a common thing to be gifted for holidays or to come with as a gift with purchase. But THIS ONE. I have found the one whom my soul loves(lovesloves). 😉 It’s juuuust big enough to fit all of my toiletries while still keeping things organized via pocketing, and it stands up nicely on a sink. BUT TO NOTE: Apparently, this is not *technically* a toiletry bag!?! TBH, my mind is *blown*. I went to find it online for y’all, and it’s called a “large blush and brush bag.” I mean, IDK how much blush one girl is toting around, but this could *totally* work for all of your toiletries if you’re traveling with travel-size items – I wouldn’t have thought twice about doing so. Definitely works as a large makeup bag, too, but don’t be deceived – you’ll fit SO MUCH MORE than blush + brushes in this bad boy. Ha!
Also, VB is durable AF. I own so much Vera Bradley at this point, and I don’t plan on stopping aaaaaanytime soon. They travel + wear SO well, so they’re really ideal for lugging around since they don’t LOOK lugged around. My duffel bags from years ago look brand new still, and I swear they’ve been around the world (literally) and back again at this point. So for heavy travel that isn’t bulky, heavy, or abrasive (who doesn’t lovelovelove the soft quilting of classic Vera?!?), sign a sistah up.
8.) Leopard print (Specifically, )
This one is a bit of a cop-out, but for good reason I swear. 😉 Leopard print ERRR’THAAAANG. ‘Tis the season, and thank the sweet Lord Baby Jesus that leopard is IN this year. Everyone knows that leopard is a neutral. And I own enough leopard to clothe a small village in this fashion-forward statement print. So, BRING ON the leopard print, yo. I’m here for it. This season, next season, and forevermore.
( + super lightweight and great for fall! Linking a few other leopard favorites, too, justbecause 🙂 ).
9.)
Specifically, the Marc Fisher sequin-infested . I’d say these bad boys were made for walkin’, but really, they were made for STRUTTIN’. I brought them to Fashion Week and they were a hit – both as a style statement, and as a respite from heels since ain’t nobody got time for stilettos when just about 7-months preggers. Nosiree.
They’re v cute + v chic + have flippable sequins, so you can be more black or more silver depending on your mood/look.
10.)
YOU GUYS. How absurdly adorable are these ?!? Shoutout to sweet reader Katie (she just told me she’s starting a blog – go send her some lovelovelove!) for sending them our way – I just about cried opening them because THE CUTENESS IS UNBEARABLE, YO. The fact that they’re Velcro is an obvious godsend, since who the heck does anything else for babies/toddlers?! They’re going to look *so cute* with the pink Adidas tracksuit that her mama has already picked up for her, so this girl is gonna be sporty and STYLIN’. 😉
