Popping in between snuggles to say hi, hello, happy Friday – I cannot believe it’s already been 7 weeks with out Jonah man. 🙂 I knew this time around, I really hoped to be able to get newborn photos done of our littlest addition and sweet fam, especially since we weren’t able to do so with Olivia. Katie was by my side to see everything go down with the OG as it did, so it was all the more meaningful when she gifted us a newborn session for our baby shower. I had the honor of working with Katie for 4+ years – when I tell y’all she’s the real deal, she’s the real deal. She’s the kinda friend every gal needs, and the kinda coworker everyone would be so lucky to have. Now that she’s pursuing photography, I’m just so stinking stoked for her. If you’re in the tri-state area wanting/needing newborn, maternity, or even wedding photography…hit Katie up.
I’m SO happy we had the opportunity to do these, because it’s so true what they say: newborn life is so fleeting. The days (and nights) may be long, but man oh man – the stage is SO short, You BLINK and they’re bigger, so capturing sweet shots at this precious, precious age and stage is absolutely worth it. It’s beautiful to have these pictures to look back on and celebrate our full little fam. 🙂
Also worth noting: I didn’t realize it initially but it makes total sense…newborn photography requires *patience* to make happen. Namely because you’re at the mercy of a tiny human’s habits, needs and sleep schedules, so sessions can take a hot second to get done. Katie is the most patient person, while also having *that eye* and just being the best to work with, so clearly, I’m a fan. Call up my girl. 🙂 Without further adieu…
THANKYOU again, Katie – we will cherish these forever. Lovelovelove you big.
