I swear it was Christmas last week, wasn’t it? HA. Apparently, we’re all full speed ahead to Valentine’s Day, which is not even a month away already. Color me confused as to how time continues to move forward in what feels like an unusually fast way? Maybe one day I won’t feel so caught off guard by the calendar. 😉 In the spirit of staying on top of my content calendar to bring you what you might be looking for before you technically “need” it, I wanted to blog some favorites + finds if you’re shopping for Valentine’s Day gifts right about now. Valentine’s Day Gifts for Him
– A few months back, reader Pamela reached out to let me know how fabulous her famous deep dish brownies are, and she so kindly sent a few our way to taste test. Sure enough…she wasn’t kidding. Truly the BEST brownies we’ve ever tasted ever, and I’m a BIIIIIIG brownie girl. They’re J’s favorite things ever, so I ordered a batch to overnight for his birthday yesterday which he said was the best birthday surprise in the history of birthday surprises. Pro tip: throw a few in the freezer for now OR later – they’re especially gooey + fudgey fabulous cold, and do not forget a glass of milk! Lovelovelove supporting a small shop AND fellow CURowd lady!
Conversation Cards – These were the biggest pleasant surprise. They aren’t cheesy or lame or easy – there are *legit* good conversation starters inside, which I think says something knowing that J + I have been together for 8 years and talk a lot LOL.
– You’ve heard me talk about these for every gift-giving holiday since the beginning of time, but for truly good reason. It’s our FAVORITE family keepsake now, which started as a cute little anniversary gift 8 years ago! I first made one for J just documenting our first six months of dating (yes, dating…I was smitten. Ha!), just curating our various dates and snapshots together to look back on down the road. Now, it’s like a massive family scrapbook that I gift him each Christmas – but you can gift it for whichever holiday means the most to you in your relationship! I curate mine to note “Remember when…” with photos + a quick text box to note thoughts or memories from the day, but you can do whatever is most meaningful for you – text or no text!
Valentine’s Day Gifts for Kids
Heart-shaped sunnies – How cute are these sunnies though?!? The OG is big on accessorizing, so I know he’ll lovelovelove these well into spring/summer, too.
– Because what little girl would NOT want that?
– While this isn’t *technically* a kids’ gift specifically, if your kid is anything like mine…sign her up for heart-shaped waffles anyday. Also me. I would like this, too.
