‘Tis the season of loveloveLOVE! Can you believe Valentine’s Day 2020 is already right around the corner?! Feels like the ball dropped just yesterday and HERE WE ARE, FOLKS. I got a few pieces in recently from one of my favorite: Red Dress Boutique. I wasn’t originally planning on doing a whole blog post sharing the loot, but upon trying everything on, I just HAD to – because I unintentionally picked out all things that are V-Day-worthy, and everything was too fabulous to NOT share in time to shop for the holiday!
BUT, even if you’re not shopping for Valentine’s Day outfit and/or have plans that include sweats and the couch (bless up), quite a few of these pieces are fabulous finds for the season in general, for your next date night, for a wedding or bridal or baby shower on your spring calendar – the works.
I unfortunately don’t have a discount code of any sort to share from Red Dress Boutique, but that’s just because they actually never give out codes – they try to keep their prices on the lower side of what some boutiques typically charge, so everything is pretty darn well priced already! Just wanted to share because Red Dress Boutique is one of my personal fave boutiques to frequent, and I know many of you are always on the hunt for new places to try and hoping for new favorites to fall in lovelovelove with, too. 🙂 I DO have a discount code for my that I’m wearing – it’s another Sis Kiss favorite of mine! Super dainty + pretty, and I have it with my own name while is Olivia’s name. Get 15% off anything from their cute little shop with code ERICA15 – and pass aong the links to your special someones, because they’d make fabulous V-Day gifts! 😉 Now onto this Red Dress Boutique Valentine’s Day haul!
Valentine’s Day Outfit #1
If there’s a running theme for all of these outfits, they’re just so ME. Really, so much at Red Dress Boutique feels ME, which is probably why I lovelovelove shopping there so much – ha! immediately caught my eye. I also have it in black! It’s one of my FAVORITE dress styles for everyday wear, because it’s fun + flirty while still being easy to wear without needing to fuss. A big pet peeve of mine is when girls are constantly fidgeting with their clothes, clearly uncomfortable – it’s just an instant confidence knocker and makes you look insecure, even if you’re anything but. Ain’t nobody got time! So this being an easy, swingy, leggy look gets points in my book.
It comes in – the pink obviously works for spring and baby/bridal shower season, but there’s also white for any brides-to-be in the house, and approximately every other shade under the sun. The darker hues are beautiful for fall/winter; just pair with a jacket + boots or booties now and you’re good to go. Otherwise, pick up a pretty pastel for heading into spring or something brighter for summer and pair with flats, mules or dainty sandals – or even sneakers and a ball cap for something totally casual!
Here I paired with these boots – they’re (less than $50) Amazon lookalikes to the $163 Goodnight Macaroon boots!
Valentine’s Day Outfit #2
Another ME look – I’m actually wearing this right now as I type, too. Minus the heels since it’s 8 am – but the whole shebang works with bedroom slippers, too. Ha! The second I felt , I saw the light.
Truly, I saw the light.
I mean, it’s a that sells out faster than Black Friday TVs at Walmart, so I knew there was SOMETHING about it. But y’all – it feels like cashmere for just the price of Starbucks next week. This thing is SUCH a hot seller at Red Dress Boutique, I swear a new color sells out every single day and another color gets restocked. I had heard rave reviews about it on Instagram, about how it’s THE softest thing – and the rumors held true. It’s so beautifully soft – it really feels like $100+ sweaters I’ve touched in Nordstrom, for obviously a fraction of the price.
This is the type of piece you buy in 7 colors and wear all year long, alternating shades with seasons. Darker colors in fall, reds or festive shades around Christmas, whatever the heck shade you want right about now, pastels in spring! It looks just as cute tucked up with cut-off jean shorts as it does over your Spanx leather leggings or favorite denim. I also lovelovelove the slight V-neckline, as well as the length – it’s long enough to wear over leggings!!!! I repeat, fully covers yo’ booty in the back!!! (I have it front-tucked into my jeans here since they’re high-waisted!). Grab whtever color is in-stock in your size literally right now, because they sell out SO DANG FAST. I really don’t know how they priced this . I have two more in my cart already! Wearing S/M.
are not from Red Dress Boutique – they’re a recent Target find and BOY am I glad I bought ’em. They’re a great, comfortable fit, can be cuffed up at the bottom, and are just a really flattering boyfriend jean cut since they’re more fitted at the booty/hips and then looser ss you go down. And !!! Seriously shook at that price tag – these fit + feel like some of my $50+ pairs of jeans. Absolutely grab a pair – they run TTS!
Finally, . In stick shock at the price tag, but in the best sense. These look juuuuust like my $100 Steve Madden heels but cost only $32 – they’re a true steal!!! They also come in black, tan, snakeskin, and two glitters, so you can go for a neutral to match every dress in your closet or opt for a pop of something fun to stand out. Absolutely grab a pair in whatever color you need most right now (or grab two!).
Valentine’s Day Outfit #3
Am I the fiesta girl emoji yet?!? I mean, COME ON! Whether you’ve got a tropical getaway to Cancun on the horizon or are just eagerly awaiting the next Taco Tuesday happy hour, is a STUNNER. It looks like some $200+ dresses I’ve seen on Revolve, but it’s so far below that price I’m a bit shook! Can someone say Cinco de Mayo? 😉
Lovelovelove the cinching, and the V-neckline that isn’t too revealing while still feeling sexy. Would be flattering on smaller + bigger-chested girls alike! Also comes in yellow – I’m wearing size Small.
Valentine’s Day Outfit #4
Last but certainly not least is ! It’s the priciest option in the haul but still surprisingly versatile, affordable, + worth every penny. I lovelovelove the girly ruffles and feminine flair. You can dress it up OR down easily; wear it with heels to a wedding, baby shower, or bridal shower, or pair with sneakesr for a more casual date night or GNO. It comes in multiple colors/prints, too (over 10!), and you !!!!
Bonus points for the balloon sleeves – you can just scrunch the elastic sleeves up a bit to get more of the balloon effect like I’ve got goin’ on in the first picture, or pull them down and still show off your arm candy.
Have you ever shopped Red Dress Boutique before? Which Valentine’s Day Outfit above is your favorite?
Would lovelovelove to know!
