Happy HUMP! If you need a little kick to get over this week’s humpday hurdle, this is the right post for you! 😉 I blogged 5 of my favorite refreshing Starbucks drinks back in summer and it was a HIT, yo. So, I figured it was high time for another edition since it’s now officially FALL! One of the most popular transitions with the season is the transition to Starbucks fall drinks. Namely, the Pumpkin Spice Latte. I swear every year it launches earlier and earlier now, though, so by the time it’s actually technically fall, some folks are already sick of the ol’ PSL. (I could do them all year, but hey, I get it!). So for anyone stuck feeling, well, stuck at the counter with no clue what to get come fall that’s NOT laced with pumpkin spice, I’ve got five favorite cozy Starbucks fall drinks (not all of which are on the menu in-store) to mix things up when you need that 3 o’clock pickmeup.

1.) Cinnamon Pumpkin Chai Latte
This is the drink that J + I are currently hooked on! One of our local Starbucks locations inside a grocery store concocted it and said it’s “exclusive” to them – ha! When we first saw the sign, I asked the barista how sweet it was, and he likened it to “drinking a Yankee candle.” So we took his suggestion and got Ventis with HALF the amount of flavoring, and they were ~perfect~ and did NOT taste like potpourri. 😉
Another option for a healthier alternative comes from @themacrobarista (follow that account on Instagram for some incredible swap-tions!):
- Organic Chai Tea, steamed almond milk, + a half pump of pumpkin (and then cinnamon on top).
2.) Caramel Apple Spice
One of my personal favorites, and it’s caffeine-free! It’s just Starbucks take on an apple cider, and it’s so fall my tastebuds are all about it. It’s literally just steamed, fresh pressed apple juice with cinnamon syrup! Plus whipped cream + caramel drizzle on top. YUM.
3.) Latte with one pump Toffee Nut
It’s juuuuust enough flavor to be a little kick to your usual latte, it’s still health-friendly, and the nuttiness of the flavoring adds a hint of fall. 🙂 I typically get mine with skim milk and one pump for a Grande – and it’s one of my favorite Starbucks fall drinks!
4.) Caramel Snickerdoodle Macchiato
From the Secret Menu! It’s essentially a Caramel Macchiato with vanilla + cinnamon dolce syrups added. If you’re like me and don’t like things too sweet, though, just get half pumps across the board! Either one pump of each flavor, or literally one half of a pump per flavor.
5.) Raspberry Hot Chocolate OR Snickerdoodle Hot Chocolate
Two non-espresso options that will still warm your soul. 🙂 A Snickerdoodle hot chocolate is white hot chocolate mocha and cinnamon dolce syrup. And then the former is literally a hot chocolate with raspberry syrup added for a fruity twist!
6.) Medicine Ball Tea
A bonus for good luck. 😉 Or maybe justbecause I came down with a little cold this week (joy). Ha! They were a Secret Menu classic for years, combining two types of tea with lemonade for what tastes + feels like the ultimate drink when you’re under the weather. Now they’re on the real menu and a total staple when it comes to Starbucks fall drinks, or ANYTIME drinks really! BUT if you’re looking for a healthier (+ cheaper!) option to make at home, I blogged my personal favorite one here (it’s got 80% less sugar than Starbs!)!
