Looking back through the years, one of the most obvious, significant stylistic shifts I’ve had has been with my accessorizing. Back in the day, I was basically the Queen of chunky statement pieces. My mom and I would hit up Claire’s Boutique at the mall around key holidays for their 10 for $5 sale, and we’d go ham stocking up on costume jewelry and random trinkets. At 50 cents a pop, who could blame us?
Fast forward a few years, though, and the rinky dink plastic and tarnished jewelry wasn’t quite our style anymore. 😉
Now, my taste in accessories is totally different. I couldn’t tell you the last time I reached for a chunky beaded bauble over something much simpler and daintier. This gold paperclip necklace is one of my new favorites – I could not have been more pleasantly surprised and wowed when I opened it. It’s STUNNING in person – dainty, yet sparkly enough to make a statement with how the light hits the cut gold.
I’m wearing the 18 inch option in 1.5 mm – it’s the daintiest chain, which I lovelovelove. Especially since this one is still 14K gold, it would be a BEAUTIFUL gift option for her.
