Our new DECK!

Let deck season commence! The first night we pulled out the fire pit and snuggled up with wine on the deck was a GOOD GOOD NIGHT, and we were giddy. Since our new deck space is finally complete, I’m so happy to share it with you today – along with some of my absolute must-haves for warm weather from a favorite brand of mine, BrüMate. Our outdoor dining set is courtesy of our friends at Raymour & Flanigan, which you might remember seeing in basically every other room in our home – AND my parents’. They’ve been furniture favorites of ours for years, and this chic, sleek outdoor dining set is no different! If you’ve got some patio and deck updates you’re looking to make, I hope this helps inspire your process. Let’s dive into it…

The second I saw this patio set on the Raymour & Flanigan website, it was lovelovelove. I just knew it was the one! The sleek modern design feels really complementary to the deck itself; I really like how the black bars on each set piece match the black bars on the deck itself.

The cushions are water resistant and meant to weather the weather, obviously, and it’s a comfortable, easy going set. For any patio or deck updates, going more modern is an obvious option, and this set just does it for me. And from the first time I shared a sneak peek of it on my Instagram Stories, I’d say it does it for you, too – SO many requests for the details, so I’m stoked to finally be able to share it all with you now!

I lovelovelove a good black-and-white design (as per my house aesthetic – ha!), so accenting the patio set with a modern black-and-white striped rug made sense, and a pop of color in fun, print-mixed pillows was the perfect finishing touch. The turquoise screams summer and feels a bit tropical, so I’m here for the vibe! And our deck is made complete with a little fire pit and the grill, ready for entertaining. ALSO, want to give a little shoutout to this sweet, female-owned small shop who made the adorable monogrammed family doormat for us – thankyousomuch, to @queenpinqreative!

UNFORTUNATELY my exact outdoor set seems to be out of stock at present, but bookmark this link for when it comes back – and in the meantime, I found a few other similar options here or here for you to get the look.

When you’re considering your own deck and patio updates, besides a great outdoor furniture set, another entertaining must-have is a BrüMate. Or, a few BrüMates! (Pop by my Instagram/Stories for an exclusive BrüMate discount code for you to save a few bucks for a limited time, too!) I’ve been a big fan of this brand for quite some time now, so I’m SO stoked to share a few specific BrüMate essentials with you today so that you can stock up in time for summer festivities.

Obviously, you know I have a slight obsession with insulated things that keep your beverages at the best possible temperature. If you follow along on Instagram, you’ve no doubt seen me sing the praises of “THE CUP,” so it’s only fitting that I found a brand to temperature-control my adult beverages, too. 😉 It’s time to throw out every old Koozy in your junk drawer, because you’ll never need (or want) one ever again. BrüMate is the world’s fastest-growing insulated drinkware brand, with everything from stainless steel coolers that hold your favorite adult can or bottle, to wine bottle or beer growler insulation solutions. The whole point is to keep your drinks at the perfect temperature – because ain’t nobody got time for warm booze.

The company started in 2016 but already has over 2,000,000 customers, making them one of the fastest growing companies in the country – crazy cool!

A few fun facts about BrüMate:

  • They’re basically indestructible. BrüMates are made with the highest quality 18/8 stainless steel and come with a lifetime guarantee! With options for keeping your favorite mixed drinks cold, too (like the Rocks Glass linked below – one I lovelovelove!), no worrying about shattering a glass on your newly updated deck or patio space!
  • They’ve got Push Lock Technology. When you push your can inside, there’s air-lock technology that almost sucks it in for a perfect, snug fit; then, when you’re done, just pull the can out or unscrew the gasket and it breaks the air lock easily.
  • They’ve also got BevGuard Technology. BevGuard is their proprietary triple-insulated technology using a combination of vacuum-insulation, an extra copper layer, and a special interior coating to prevent heat transfer. A BrüMate will actually keep your drink 20x colder than a standard neoprene can cooler, and there is NO condensation on your can – so they literally work wonders.

I think BrüMate became most popular for their slim can design, which seamlessly fits over many popular hard seltzers like White Claw, Trulys, etc. But they actually have an entire RANGE of insulated drinkware options, for everything from individually beer bottles to wine bottles to share. The Imperial Pint is a 20 ounce option with an interchangeable shaker lid option if you want/need to turn your BrüMate  into a cocktail shaker. The shaker lid is 100% leak proof with a noticeably fabulous seal, which I commented on to my mom immediately – it’s a significant difference to your standard metal cocktail shaker. The shaker top works on any of their 20 ounce Imperial Pints and is top rack dishwasher safe and BPA free!

If you need a different wedding or shower gift or an idea for a housewarming party, HIGHLY recommend creating a set of matching BrüMates to fit whatever the recipient loves to sip. I have all of mine in Onyx Leopard, which is obviously sleek, chic, and VERY me. 😉 Not to mention, looks absolutely bomb on our Raymour & Flanigan outdoor dining set!

SO, my biggest BrüMate favorites that I recommend…

Again, pop by IG for a discount code for ya!

There are wine and champagne tumblers for the girls (hello, bachelorette party on a boat?!), flasks + can coolers for the guys, and gift sets for everyone and their mother.

SO, I can officially say…cheers to the commencement patio/deck season!

May your decks be decked out and may your drinks be colder than ever before.

Do you have any deck and patio updates in mind this season? And have you ever heard of (or tried!) BrüMate?
