With Mother’s Day right around the corner and babies on the brain (hi hello it’s me, 31 weeks pregnant), it felt like high time to share pretty options for anyone in the market for a baby shower dress – or even gender reveal dress ideas – that won’t break the bank. All of the below options are a.) bump friendly but not necessarily maternity, and b.) under $100 (although most are actually under $50!). So really, my hope is that it can be an evergreen resource and shopping guide, whether you’re personally expecting + planning your own party, or looking for something to wear to a friend or family member’s special day. Especially when buying myself clothes during pregnancy, I’ve tried hard to not buy things that only make sense in this one (very limited) season. My goal is to only buy “maternity” for absolute necessities like denim or underwear. Otherwise, I size up for something I can just wear more oversized postpartum or wear styles that already work in my pre-pregnancy size over a baby bump for most wearability afterwards, too.
My own baby shower dress was a boutique find that I bought before even knowing I was pregnant – it just lays beautifully over a bump, so it worked like a charm. It’s sold out where I got it, but I did find it ! Woo! Whether you’re shopping for your own baby shower dress (or gender reveal dress!) or needing something for a girlfriend’s shower, I wanted to round up + organize some affordable options for you. We’ve got pink baby shower dresses, blue baby shower dresses, and gender neutral options for anyone not finding out and/or needing a good gender reveal outfit idea, too. 🙂 AND, important to note – most of these (basically all?) come in multiple colors + prints, so if you lovelovelove a certain style…click through and check it out, because it’s likely ALSO in the other “gender” color if you’re going with pink versus blue, etc.
P.S. For more baby shower dresses + gender reveal dress options, bookmark this list from my Amazon storefront!

PINK BABY SHOWER DRESSES:

[/ezcol_1half]
[ezcol_1half_end class=”shopping-content”]There’s something about swiss dots that always feels so feminine and pretty to me! This style is SO similar to my own baby shower dress, down to the smocked top and tiering in the body – and it’s a more affordable alternative!
[/ezcol_1half_end] [/ezdiv] [ezdiv id=”” class=”shopping-post-item” style=””] [ezcol_1half class=”shopping-image”][/ezcol_1half]
[ezcol_1half_end class=”shopping-content”]Better suited for the baby shower GUEST dress than the bumpin’ mama, but how darling is the bow?! I’m such a sucker for a good fit n’ flare skater skirt, too, I’d wear this justbecause.
[/ezcol_1half_end] [/ezdiv] [ezdiv id=”” class=”shopping-post-item” style=””] [ezcol_1half class=”shopping-image”][/ezcol_1half]
[ezcol_1half_end class=”shopping-content”]Basically the ultimate pink baby shower dress. You’ve got the smocked top, tiered body, midi length, and then the cute puff sleeves that can be worn on or off shoulder…it’s like a pregnant lady’s dream dress for comfort AND cuteness.
[/ezcol_1half_end] [/ezdiv] [ezdiv id=”” class=”shopping-post-item” style=””] [ezcol_1half class=”shopping-image”][/ezcol_1half]
[ezcol_1half_end class=”shopping-content”]This is a more casual option if you’re already thinking into fall! A little more bodycon with longer sleeves and a flattering front-twist.
[/ezcol_1half_end] [/ezdiv] [ezdiv id=”” class=”shopping-post-item” style=””] [ezcol_1half class=”shopping-image”][/ezcol_1half]
[ezcol_1half_end class=”shopping-content”]The dress I’m wearing in the snapshots above (+ Instagram reel!). It’s definitely a sexier, slinkier option that hugs all curves, but it can definitely make you feel super feminine and flirty in a time you might feel…not that. HA.

BLUE BABY SHOWER DRESSES:
A familiar face AND dress – Katie is wearing THIS dress in the blue gingham! And it’s still on super sale for literally $16 – bless up and add to cart, because it’s great as a baby shower dress but also great for a winery tour with your girlfriends or a sweet spring date night?
[ezdiv id=”” class=”shopping-post-item” style=””] [ezcol_1half class=”shopping-image”]
[/ezcol_1half]
[ezcol_1half_end class=”shopping-content”]Another pretty classic cobalt option – clearly, smocked tops with on/off shoulder puff sleeves is a thing for the baby shower dress market. But this one has multiple blues, multiple pinks, multiple prints…it’s got it all. I mean, this one looks like a Monet painting. I’m obsessed.
[/ezcol_1half_end] [/ezdiv] [ezdiv id=”” class=”shopping-post-item” style=””] [ezcol_1half class=”shopping-image”][/ezcol_1half]
[ezcol_1half_end class=”shopping-content”]I shot some maternity photos in this dress, and it looks gorgeous in person/photographed. Truly feels like a fairytale dress!
[/ezcol_1half_end] [/ezdiv] [ezdiv id=”” class=”shopping-post-item” style=””] [ezcol_1half class=”shopping-image”][/ezcol_1half]
[ezcol_1half_end class=”shopping-content”]A cute, shorter number with all-over smocking for all-over stretch. This is the one Taylor is wearing above in the photo with me from my baby sprinkle – just in a different color!
[/ezcol_1half_end] [/ezdiv] [ezdiv id=”” class=”shopping-post-item” style=””] [ezcol_1half class=”shopping-image”][/ezcol_1half]
[ezcol_1half_end class=”shopping-content”]For just a BIT of blue, this pretty dress has the most darling details.
[/ezcol_1half_end] [/ezdiv] [ezdiv id=”” class=”shopping-post-item” style=””] [ezcol_1half class=”shopping-image”][/ezcol_1half]
[ezcol_1half_end class=”shopping-content”]Because ruffles in tiers is always a good idea. 🙂 Also a great guest option AND one that screams spring or summer wedding!
[/ezcol_1half_end] [/ezdiv]
Another FABULOUS contender for baby shower dresses this season has been Abercrombie. I mean, can we talk about this floral poplin number?! It’s stunning. If you’ve got a garden party on the social events calendar, wear this. It’s lined with flattering smocking up top and the prettiest puff sleeves that can be worn on OR off shoulder. But they’ve come out with a quite a few different cuts in this same blue/white print, so you can get the look multiple ways, with or without a baby bump! (All on sale now, too!)
GENDER NEUTRAL BABY SHOWER DRESSES:
[ezdiv id=”” class=”shopping-post-item” style=””] [ezcol_1half class=”shopping-image”]
[/ezcol_1half]
[ezcol_1half_end class=”shopping-content”]The same cutesy dress as above, just in pink AND blue. 😉
[/ezcol_1half_end] [/ezdiv] [ezdiv id=”” class=”shopping-post-item” style=””] [ezcol_1half class=”shopping-image”][/ezcol_1half]
[ezcol_1half_end class=”shopping-content”]I’m not sure if white counts as a “gender neutral baby shower dress,” but it feels like it to me – especially because you can pair with these earrings to add some pink/blue love! (But would also work so well for maternity photos…or for any spring/summer brides!)
[/ezcol_1half_end] [/ezdiv] [ezdiv id=”” class=”shopping-post-item” style=””] [ezcol_1half class=”shopping-image”][/ezcol_1half]
[ezcol_1half_end class=”shopping-content”]A good wrap dress will never go out of style. The subtle ruffle detailing is also so, so pretty – and can’t beat this blue/pink combo!
[/ezcol_1half_end] [/ezdiv] [ezdiv id=”” class=”shopping-post-item” style=””] [ezcol_1half class=”shopping-image”][/ezcol_1half]
[ezcol_1half_end class=”shopping-content”]OK SO obviously not a DRESS, but this little kimono would be the CUTEST thing over a little white dress for a gender reveal party, or for a baby shower where gender is unknown/a surprise. It’s also got spandex in it, so hello STRETCHY!
[/ezcol_1half_end] [/ezdiv] [ezdiv id=”” class=”shopping-post-item” style=””] [ezcol_1half class=”shopping-image”][/ezcol_1half]
[ezcol_1half_end class=”shopping-content”]Another non-dress, but a fun idea to wear as a guest to a gender reveal party or baby shower. Probably the cutest combo top I’ve seen!
[/ezcol_1half_end] [/ezdiv]
