The holidays are HERE! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving – if not with your people, at least being personally thankful for all of the goodness in your life. 🙂 This month had SO MANY FAVORITES, but I tried to narrow it down to things that are particularly giftable since ’tis the season. 😉 Hopping right to it…
This is THE SWEATER of the season, folks – run, don’t walk. So far I’ve bought 3. Can’t stop, won’t stop. I lovelovelove me a good sweater that is SOFT and STRETCHY and I’ll take that over a scratchy chunky cable knit any day. This one is both of the above things; it nearly feels like my cashmere blend pants and could stretch to cover a bump if you’re preggers. On sale for about $40, which is a steal…I’d expect to find this in Nordstrom for $150+ easily!
It’s a dupe to this Free People sweater, too!
This stuff is faaaaabulous! I started testing this duo when the brand reached out to me about a potential campaign together. Since they were new-to-me I obviously wanted to give them a solid go before deciding whether or not I wanted to share them with you – and spoiler alert: they’re incredible. The bundle is a duo of the Illuminator, their highlighter, and Prep Set Glow, their hydrating finishing spray. I wear the Original shade in both, which is formulated to work on any/ALL skin tones (seriously).
With the Illuminator, a little bit goes a loooong way; I don’t even squeeze the dropper to apply. I just dab three dots from the wand onto my cheekbone and use my ring finger to blend. The product is super pigmented, blendable and buildable, so you end up with this gorgeously radiant but still natural-looking glow for a highlight.
For the Prep Set Glow, shake the bottle first so the glow is dispersed throughout – it’s not glittery or sparkly, just beautifully glowy. It’s a hydrating finishing spray that sets makeup for all day wear, and I lovelovelove…it also smells fantastic.
THE BEST PART: The duo is in a bundle together that’s ON SALE for 30% off right now!!!
Little Words Project bracelets
These fun little beaded bracelets feel a bit like grown up friendship bracelets. They’re a simple but easy way to show someone you’re thinking of them! They’ve got a bunch of pre-made words, affirmations and mantras available in white, silver, and/or gold lettering, but you can also completely customize your own if she’s got a go-to word or favorite name to wear everyday. And they’re affordable, too – they’re only $20, but you can use code ERICA15 for an extra 15% off! I’m gifting to many girlfriends this year and recommend you do the same. 🙂
Dark chocolate sea salt caramels
Fair warning: these are addicting. Mimi agrees. 😉 I grabbed these on a whim at Target because that’s what you do, and now they’re a staple in my chocolate stash. There’s just something about dark chocolate + sea salt that goes over the edge, but the added caramel really takes it over the top. It’s not too sticky – it’s truly a perfect combination, and just one is all you need with your afternoon cup of coffee for a sweet pickmeup.
Bebe it’s Cold Outside Schitt’s Creek mug
For the Schitt’s Creek fans, this mug is just IT. J got it for me last Christmas season and I could not WAIT to break it out again. I mean, Moira Rose is a gem and you can’t NOT smile when sipping your holiday coffee/tea/cocoa from this mug. From a small shop, too!
State of Being candles + Life in Lilac candles
Mama went a little candle-crazy this year – but for good reason! I ended up with the entire line of State of Being candles because I just had to support my girl Beth, who created this incredible candle company mid-pandemic to help bring light into people’s lives – literally! Each candle has a positive affirmation + word to help inspire your everyday in an intentional way, which I just lovelovelove. They all smell great, but my personal favorites are RADIANT and WORTHY. Gifting a bunch to girlfriends for Christmas!
Then there’s Life in Lilac candles which was created by a fellow blogger, Jen, who is one of my favorites! I’ve tried her first two scents so far and both are DREAMY – truly incredible.
Especially if you’re shopping small this season, check out both Beth and Jen’s candle lines!
100 days of Gratitude angel cards
I discovered Anne Neilson’s fine art company this year and fell in loveloveLOVE. Her work is simply beautiful – it feels more abstract but with the most beautiful interpretations of angels. These gratitude cards make a stunning gift; they come in a chic acrylic container to pull out one a day, and each card has an angel print on one side and a quote/thought/inspiring tidbit on gratitude on the other!
Costco boba popsicles
For my fellow bubble tea fans, these are INCREDIBLE – keep your eyes peeled on your next Costco run! They’re brown sugar pearl milk ice bars – there is this wonderfully caramelly coating on the outside and LOTS of tapioca balls in the popsicle, and it’s just SO yum.
This is a really nice black tea for the season – it’s got lemon, orange and other warming spices in it for a citrusy blend that’s very reminiscent of Christmas. A nice alternative to your 37th peppermint mocha. 😉
Litany of Trust 30 Day Retreat
This book quite literally changed my life. It’s a 30-day devotional on trust in the Lord, and it was just phenomenal. The writer is simply fabulous, and the book was inspiring to me on every level – truly life changing. I’m already going back to the beginning for round two!
