COOL SH*T I LOVELOVELOVE – Monthly Favorites, November 2024

It’s the moooost wonderful tiiiiiime of the yeaaaaar…and I truly cannot believe it! I was just saying to a girlfriend this week that it feels like 2024 has been simultaneously the longest and shortest year of all time – what happened? Here we are yet again, back at it with the month’s best of the best. I actually had a bit of a hard time selecting the *favorites* because I feel like most of my month was spent shopping for other people for the holidays…and not exactly opening it up for a test run, you know? 😉 Even though I’ve been trying to consume less myself, I did find a few standouts to spotlight – let’s get into it.

1.) Red bow heels

Right off the bat, these are the holiday heels of the season. They’re obviously the perfect classic red, but beyond that, the heel isn’t too high, the shape and design is ultra flattering, and the soles are memory foam for a legitimately comfortable fit. I put them on and was instantly impressed. And, the bow isn’t floppy or awkward – it’s bent ever so slightly and structured enough where it just perfectly sits in its place without becoming a tripping hazard. 😉

10/10 if you’re in the market for a solid Christmas pump! (Added bonus, the price point is GREAT!)

2.) Judy blue jeans

I had been hearing *rave reviews* for these “Judy Blue” jeans all over, from my TikTok feed to my local moms’ Facebook group. Everyone swears by them and says they’re the most comfortable jeans on the market, and they apparently sell out as fast as they come in because they’re just everyone’s jam. So when I stumbled upon this pair on TikTok Shop with my size in stock, it was an immediate add-to-cart – and I’m SO glad I did.

These must be what the sisterhood of traveling pants jeans feel like. They’re soft, feeling like your favorite lived-in pair even when you first pull them on.

They’re stretchy, so they hug your curves without suffocating you.

And these in particular have the most FLATTERING seam up the front that elongates your legs, and in the back it stops right before your bum…which makes your booty look POPPIN’. I mean, COME ON.

I will absolutely buy more from this brand after trying these!

3.) Epson printer – ET 3850

Welp friends, the time had come – my trusty college printer finally bit the dust. That thing truly stood the test of time goin’ strong for a decade plus, and it literally got to the point where the maker stopped supporting the software updates…ha.

I picked this one up on sale on my dad’s recommendation, and it’s AWESOME. It print beautifully, sure, but beyond that, you can print via bluetooth from both your laptop AND phone. But probably the best part is how long the ink lasts.

My dad got an Epson and has been *shooketh* at how little ink it uses…he kept saying it would take him actual years before needing ink replacements. Sure enough, it’s so efficient with ink usage, you really get bank for your buck! I think Liv will be in the 5th grade before I need to change inks at this rate. Ha!

It’s also cute and compact-looking in my office. 🙂

4.) Baby shopping cart

God bless the ShopRite team who sent this darling little toy shopping cart over for Jonah man…I mean, what’s cuter than a toddler toting around groceries?? Little dude is obsessed. Could probably work for Shipt now. Put him to work!

5.) Custom coffee tumbler

My latest favorite from the Simple Modern ensemble is their new coffee travel mug: the Voyager 360. Beyond sounding like a spaceship, it’s got a cool pop-lock for 360 degree drinking. Like everything else SM makes, the drinkware keeps your drink the temperature it went in at – so your coffee stays hot all day. But what I really like about this newer design is that it’s a ceramic-coated interior instead of stainless steel, so it really maintains the purity of your drink’s flavor, even after multiple washes.

6.) Moana 2 soundtrack

So random, I know. After seeing Moana 2 on opening day with the OG, we could not stop singing the songs! So much so that Liv took Mimi and Papa on a movie theater date the following weekend. 😉 But what I lovelovelove so much is that the girls behind the music are Barlow & Bear – the 20-something creative masterminds behind the Unofficial Bridgerton Musical before getting sued by Netflix (womp)…and then hired by Disney. What a comeback!

7.) Viral tubby bubble crab

This TikTok-viral Amazon tubby toy is so cute and makes bathtime so fun! It plays songs and creates bubbles (just add some water + a drop of soap or bubble bath into it when you turn it on…super simple).

I just saw our red one is on sale for under $10 right now…would be a great little Christmas gift, or just a fun treat to add joy to your little’s everyday! 🙂

8.) Gold sandals

ICYMI, I was in Charleston, SC for a few days this past month for something called Soul Camp, run by a true gem of a human, Jess Connolly, and her team. When we were cold plunging one evening, Jess had on these super chic-looking, Birkenstock-esque gold sandals with the classic double strap, gold hardware and a back strap – and I had to have them. I was later in the airport Googling exactly that and stumbled upon these on clearance…say less.

Bonus, they’re still on sale and they’re SO comfy. Can’t wait to wear them in warmer weather!

9.) Leopard athletic dress

This gem of an athletic dress is on clearance and on trend – leopard is just so fetch right now. (Is “fetch” still fetch or is my millennial showing? Ha!) Super cute in general, but would be ESPECIALLY cute if you’ve got a Disney trip on the books with an Animal Kingdom day coming…just saying. 😉

I really like the higher neckline and lower back…feels different than every other athletic dress in my closet right now, so I could justify the purchase. Ha!

P.S. I wasn’t sure from the description initially, but it does have built-in cups!

10.) Candlelight concert

J + I had a date night this past month, and it was probably one of the coolest we’ve ever had. We went to see a candlelight Coldplay tribute concert performed by a string quartet – literally the coolest experience. The stage looked incredible, sure, but the musicians were just awesome. Granted, Coldplay’s music naturally suits itself to more classical arrangements since Chris Martin does so much on the piano anyway, but wow. I cried in the first song. When music brings me to tears, there’s just nothing better.

I will say, we had booked what we thought were good seats closer to the front, but spend less money and get balcony seats if/when they’re available for a better view of the actual candlelit stage!!!
