I pinky promise that October will see more life around these rosy parts. Things have just been full in the fullest way behind-the-scenes, and what used to take me an hour or two now takes…a week or two. Ha. 😉 At least there’s been lots to lovelovelove lately, and September’s favorites are in full force. Truly this last month saw some things top out the list of all-time faves forever and ever amen, so I can’t wait for them to get in your life, too. 🙂 Spoiler alert: this is basically Cool Sh*t: The Drinks Edition. 😉
1.) Fourth Wing
WHAT A RIDE. Literally. Wow. I’m still not over it. My girlfriends and I are ALL in book hangovers from this one.
Best read of 2023 so far, hands down. It’s fast paced from the start, does not slow down, is written so well, and I legitimately gasped on the last page. Jaw dropped. Best twist that I didn’t see coming, which is so rare for me.
Its sequel drops November 7th – I’ve already got it pre-ordered to my Kindle.
2.) Eboost
IYKYK…I’m a big drink girlie. Always have something I’m sipping, and chances are, it’s something fun and flavorful. One of my latest finds that I’m lowkey obsessed with is Super Fuel – which is, quite literally, a “healthy” energy drink. Honestly, when I learned more about this stuff it straight up blew my mind, in the least dramatic way possible. As an immediate prerequisite, it’s delicious…but let me drop some highlights here…
- It’s loaded with vitamins and minerals. Vitamins C, D, B3, B6, B12, folate, zinc…one can actually has 100% of your daily recommended Vitamin C AND zinc levels, so hello cold and flu season! (Or should I say, buh-bye? Ha!)
- The “energy boost” comes from plant-based caffeine, so it doesn’t make you jittery like other “energy drinks” do. I learned that other energy drinks use synthetic caffeine, which is actually derived from AMMONIA. Yes, ammonia. The freaking CHEMICAL. The plant-based caffeine in these comes from green coffee seed + green tea!
- They’ve got nootropics inside, which can help you feel more focused – hi, hello, it’s me mom brain.
- They’ve ALSO got electrolytes AND antioxidants…
- …and NO artifical sweeteners, flavors, OR colors.
Truly awesome ingredient label. I’m impressed. Mix with coconut water for a mean mocktail!
If you click here and use code FREEFUEL at checkout, you can try *all 4 flavors* for free (yup, FO’ FREE) – just pay for shipping – to see what flavor you fancy the most.
3.) Life in Lilac fall candles
I’m all about good clean candles, and Life in Lilac’s have been favorites of mine since they first launched because their scents are more complex and all fabulous. They use sustainable, high-quality natural soy wax that’s free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and lead-free for a clean burn.
When their fall line launched, I bought the full bundle and figured it would be my seasonal scent rotation – and sure enough, it’s exactly that.
4.) The Styled Collection stroller blanket
This has been the softest, snuggliest blanket for Jonah man – he loveloveLOVES is. Literally pulls it to his face to snuggle and smiles when we stroke his cheek with it – it’s adorable. It feels exactly like Barefoot Dreams blankets do, but for a *fraction* of the cost – and it’s designed specifically as a “stroller blanket,” so it’s a great size for tucking on the go like this, whether it’s for a cooler evening walk outside or in the car or grocery store, etc!
5.) BodyArmor Lyte
Aaaaaand another drinky drink! WOO! Toldja we’re big drink girlies. 😉 I say “we” because this is another that feels like it’s gone around the various circles before hitting here. My manager and I both obsessed and drink it because rumor has it, it helps with milk production when nursing (which, apparently, may be because of the coconut water inside and/or the electrolytes). The OG is obssessed with it and always wants me to bring one for the car ride to taekwondo. I always sip on one during my morning workouts. They taste GREAT and have no added sugar. Peach mango is my personal fave so far – and I grab the big case from Costco!
If you lovelovelove the feel of Lululemon Align pants but hate how they collect every hair or fuzzy and pill…then you need these. They’re a third of the price and will be on your doorstep in a day.
They’re not exactly the same – Lululemon’s are a bit thicker/denser feeling, while these are a little thinner/stretchier (literally, per their material makeups – these have more Spandex, so they have more of that “snappy” stretch to them). But, both *feel* buttery soft and are ridiculously comfortable…these are just a.) more affordable and b.) lower maintenance.
Great for workouts AND just looking like you’re working out 😉 but also IMPORTANT – they’ve got that handy dandy side pocket on the thigh that perfectly fits your phone if you’re out on a walk or just need a quick pocket, etc.
These are a must buy in my book – I just got another pair delivered today!
Y’all know I STAN Lovevery. Always have, always will. If I had to pick *one* brand for ALL of my kids’ toys/playthings from, it would be Lovevery. Everything is just made SO freaking well. It’s all done with such intention, and it’s all so creatively and developmentally en pointe.
Besides already starting Jonah’s boxes, I grabbed him the baby play gym – and in no surprise to me whatsoever, I’m nothing short of impressed. It’s easy to put together and works for baby tummy time through toddler sitting and then some; it’s got different flaps and engaging elements all around the perimeter of the mat, each focused on different sensory experiences, so it really has so much. There’s no wonder it’s one of their Best Sellers with over 2,000+ five-star reviews, yo!
This is a baby must in my book – whether you’re buying it for your own baby, as a shower gift, or something from Santa this year. 😉
8.) Dunkin’ Nutty Pumpkin iced coffee
My current FAVORITE pumpkin-y coffee order. Let the record show that I’ve yet to have a PSL this year – and I’m kinda sorta totally over them. But this one – THIS one takes the pumpkin spice cake. The KEY for me is ordering it “half sweet.” Now, my one knock on Dunkin’ is that the location closest to me is YET to get my order right – which makes me laugh since I literally tell them exactly what to do and it’s STILL WRONG SOMEHOW GOOD HEAVENS. But, when it’s right it’s riiiiiiight and oh so delish. Not too sweet, great pumpkin flavor, and like fall in a cup.
9.) Rachel’s Fall Worship playlist
You know besides being a big drink girlie, I’m also a big playlist girlie. Well, my girlfriend Rachel made a bombdotcom playlist of fall worship songs. And it’s a vibe.
I’d been on the hunt for a really good, holistic protein to add into post-workout smoothies – Mimi found this brand after doing a TON of research, so I gave it a go, too. And friends, it’s fantastic. Besides being high in protein per serving, it’s a clean, pure formula without added junk. It tastes fabulous in shakes, and the brand is also SO kind and helpful online; case in point, I reached out via Instagram DM after one of you asked me a question about it because I wanted their official, scientifically researched answer. Not only did they respond quickly, but they were SO helpful + thorough…and turns out, their protein is not only safe but actually SUPER healthy to have while pregnant + breastfeeding, too.
