Aiiiiiiight Mother Nature, someone seems a bit confused. I mean, I live in Philadelphia, not Miami, so can I really be faulted for expecting temps that are a *bit* (read: a whole lot) cooler than 88 degrees nearing the end of September? I don’t know if you got the memo, but the PSL is back, which means you need to calm yo’self and bring things back to a breezy sweater weather chill.
Since I’m still sweating in cutoffs in FALL (ugh), I’ve needed to make some slight adjustments to my makeup routine. Because besides it being hothothot outdoors, I swear some days I’m on the go from sunrise until my head hits the pillow at night. My skin is naturally on the oilier side, and I just love wearing makeup because I think it’s fun. So to prevent me from looking like a greased-up crazy woman with makeup running down my face by noon, I needed to find a few products to incorporate into my everyday beauty arsenal for fall makeup that would legitimately stay put for most of the day – a harder feat than you might think.
Here’s what I’m using:
Face:
2B Makeup Base Primer: I *need* primer before applying any foundation, BB or CC cream, or tinted moisturizer. Because my skin is my biggest pain point when it comes to a beauty routine, I always need to give it some extra TLC to make sure that makeup is laying neatly and cleanly and covering any blemishes without suffocating or clogging my pores. #thestruggleisreal. This Primer is water-based, meaning it does not feel greasy on your face – a must for us oilier gals. Plus, a little bit goes a loooooooong way. Actually thus far in using it, I have always used too much. Meaning I still am overestimating how much I use, so I can scale back even more.

CC Cream: This stuff has subtle foundation coverage and nourishing properties, so it’s like the ultimate blend behind a foundation and a tinted moisturizer (which are typically my personal faves).

Concealer Corrector (01 Peche): This stick is the quintessential combatant against under eye circles. Normally, I’m a repeat purchaser of the Rimmel London Match Perfection Skin tone adapting concealer, which is a tubed concealer with a more liquid consistency in comparison to a stick concealer. But, this 2B concealer is a bit thicker, which is surprisingly fabulous for really concealing any sort of darker remnants of not-enough-sleep.

2B Colours Blush (01 Lollipop): Because who doesn’t want a blush named “lollipop”? 2B’s blush is a mineral blush that makes for a great, natural pop of color that lasts all day.

Eyes:
Eye Catcher Charming Shadow Base: Like my face, my eyes need some primer love if it’s going to be sweatproof for an entire day. I swear by the Elf Sheer Eyelid Primer (which I rave about here), because it’s *literally* a near-perfect lookalike to the mega-expensive Urban Decay Eyeshadow Priming Potion. This 2B Eye Catcher shadow base is different, though; it has a thicker consistency, almost like a lip gloss, so it really makes your shadow STAY. Any eye shadow or color is usually the first thing to go when I break a sweat going through a hotter day, so for me, this is a must!

2B My Eye Shadow (02 Pink): This shadow is just a beautiful light pink, perfect for everyday wear. It layers flawlessly over the charming shadow base, so the two make for a great fall duo.

Cat Eyeliner: GUYS. You know how mastering a black cat eye is about as difficult as finding a leprechaun riding a rainbow unicorn or Miley keeping her ladyparts covered? It’s. Hard. But this eyeliner pen is hands down the best eyeliner pen I’ve found to make it as effortless and easy as possible for you to whip on a winged cat eye in T-minus two minutes. Forrealz. The pen is just firm enough to give you the control you need, and it’s pigmented enough to let you glide over your lid smoothly and quickly leaving just the right amount of color behind. Did I mention it’s waterproof??? It’s like drawing your eyeliner on with permanent marker – that still removes flawlessly with your favorites makeup removing wipes.

Colours Mascara in Mega Prune: I had never tried colored mascara before, because it felt like something unnatural and out of a Jenna Marbles video. But lo and behold, this stuff is juuuuust the right amount of color that you *think* you’re wearing your typical black mascara, until you get the exact right light on your face or someone is all up in your grill.
Aqua Comfort Waterproof Mascara: I’ve been on the HUNT for a waterproof mascara that doesn’t essentially glue to your eyelashes; past attempts to find said mascara have ended in me scrubbing the living daylights out of my eyelashes, because the dang mascara just did not want to budge for anyone. That’s great when you want it to not budge, but not great when you’re just really tired and want to take your makeup off like a good girl. This stuff is a gem, though, because it lasts all day long with zero fall-out and removes easily with my fave Ponds makeup removing wipes (a fall beauty essential mentioned here).

Lips:
2B Cosmetics Hydrastick (Rose):Â Easy breezy hydrating lip balm that comes in 3 colors – it speaks for itself. Who couldn’t use more lip balm in their life?

2B 3D Gloss: Come fall, I transition nearly entirely away from lipglosses and insteads towards my favorite fall lipsticks and pigmented butter balms. This pinky gloss, though, is still perfect when you just want to whip on a quick everyday shade that matches any outfit, complements any skin tone, and gives your face a nice lasting oomph.
