Hello from DA BEACH! ICYMI, team CUR head to the Jersey Shore for a hot sec this week to get away + create some cool content. (Team CUR minus our fabulous intern, Ashley – lovelovelove you girl!) It’s been much needed + a v fun getaway with my mama, full of early morning shoots, late night editing, and lotsa sunshine in between. We tried out Long Beach Island since neither of us had ever been, and so far we’ve been nothing but #impressed. It’s the *cutest* little hidden gem on the shore! Only two hours from Philly, beauuuuuuutiful beach + water, adorable little restaraurants and taverns by the bayside, + ice cream/bagel/coffee shops on every block, which is MY KINDA PLACE, YO. So we’ve been living. Then heading back to reality for a few days before hopping to another beach with the whole fam for the 4th. I cannot complain. Life is good.

I wore this exact look one night for dinner down by the bay, and it was a smash hit; besides feelin’ fruity fresh + perfect for a summer night out, I was stopped multiple times by folks asking about ! It’s an eyecatcher, yo. First off, the lemon print. It literally FEELS fresh. Second, the swing of it. It’s a fully-covering skirt (the flap doesn’t lift up to bare your hoohah, FYI), but it’s got the best swing to it with the little wrap-around feel. Third, it’s super flattering, since it can be worn up on your waist, making your waist look smaller + legs look longer. Halle-friggin-lujah. Fourth, it’s also , making it $20.98, and nearly all sizes are still available (but in the process of selling out, so get ’em while ya can!).

Apparently, fruit are fetch right now. Have ya noticed?? Hence, this post. Fruit are friggin’ ERRRRR’WHERE. Lemons, watermelons, cherries, strawberries…it’s like a fruity fiesta everywhere ya turn! I think it’s just the nature of summer – it’s farmers’ market season (my fave), and everything is fresh n’ ripe. So why not fill your closet with fruit, too? So besides sharing some Jersey shore notes + a cute lil’ skirt, I figured I’d share all of the bookmarked FRUIT I found hanging out on the internet. Because I was wearing the skirt at my actual waist and not on my hips, I knotted up my tank to really accentuate that – it reaaaaaaally helps to make your waist pop more (which is a thinner point on your body than your hips, so it’s a flattering angle for all!), and add a few inches to your legs. #Bless. The whole thing just felt very chic for summer, while still being casual + cool.

What’s not chic, casual OR cool is the weirdass sunburn I got on my feet – can ya see it??? The rest of me was totally fine – just this one weird strip on my ankle/foot that’s red as a tomato. Good work, E. Good work. Ha!
