Hocus Pocus Charcuterie Board

It’s just a bunch of HOCUS POCUS! With the premiere of Hocus Pocus 2 happening this week, I found it fitting to share the Sanderson Sisters in the cheesiest way possible – a classic Hocus Pocus charcuterie board. This was such a hit on Instagram this week, so I figured I’d give it a permanent place of honor on the blog for evergreen reference. Feel free to bookmark + share with your viewing party friends (or SISTAAAAS! 😉 ).

HOCUS POCUS CHARCUTERIE BOARD - on Coming Up Roses

This might be the most short-and-sweet post to ever hit CUR, but I wanted to collect the board details in one place for the Q’s I’ve gotten from the Reel.

For the Sanderson sister heads, I used brie cheese; Sarah’s hair is cubed cheddar, Winifred’s is rolled salami, and Mary’s is blackberries. For Winifred’s hair, I used a pack of the charcuterie-friendly meats (they typically come with salami, sopresseta, and prosciutto). The salami rolls the easiest, so I rolled each piece, then cut it in half and stood it on its flat base. The meat has a bit of stick to it, so if you smush them together in the sortof “formation” of her hair, they should stand pretty nicely!

For their eyes, I used beads from the blackberries! Just pick a nice one to carefully deconstruct. Sarah’s and Mary’s mouth are pieces of strawberry Australian licorice, and Winifred’s mouth is a piece of Jujufruit candy to make that classic lipsticked pucker.

For their bodies, go with the loose color-scheme of their outfits; I used red strawberry slices for Sarah, green grapes for Winifred, and mandarin orange wedges for Mary.

Beyond that, surround the sisters with your favorite snacks! Tortilla chips, nuts, pretzels, crackers…your favorite salty additions will do. I used some chocolate-covered caramel balls as a finishing touch to separate the heads from one another and add something sweet.

And voila! A totally magical AND delicious Hocus Pocus charcuterie board. 🙂

Happy Hocus Pocus 2 viewing this weekend!
