WOOOOO MONDAY! Who’s excited?!?! My guess is everyone, since today will likely be full of barbecue-ing and beaching and not being at work. #rejoice. But just like Christmas, please for the love of all that is ‘Murica, don’t forget the reason for the season. Remember all of the souls who fought and who continue to fight for complete strangers in the name of liberty. The dedication of their time and their lives can’t go forgotten.
Now, Monday. We can take a second and apply this to Tuesday, too, since Lord knows this Tuesday is bound to feel a bit Monday-ish.
Do you ever wake up feeling like you’re missing the point? You’re working your tail off – even on weekends – and you feel like you’re sitting stagnant, not moving forward as fast as you’d like. You’re chilling in dream limbo, where your dreams are all there in front of your imaginary figment of a treadmill, and you just cannot for the life of you run fast enough to catch them. You feel like you’re going in one place, and it’s driving you bonkers. Why should you be working so dang hard and not reap any rewards? What’s the point? Is it even worth it?
Yes, yes it is.
