Happy Monday, Happy Summer, Happy July, Happy 4th, + Happy Month of the long-anticipated Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Have ya heard of it??? Chances are, if you follow more than one blogger, you’ve heard of it…maybe a few more times than you’d like. 😉 But for good reason – it’s legit one of the best of the best sales out there, and it happens every single summer. #Bless. Since the NSale (#Nsale on social media – hashtag code for the Nordstrom Anniversay Sale, naturally) starts SO SOON, I wanted to share the most important, can’t miss, must have details with ya so that you’re as prepared as possible to shop ’til ya drop.
But E…it’s a sale. What the heck do I have to PREPARE?!
A lot, my friends. A friggin’ lot.
Because this sale is unlike any other. It’s big, it’s fast, it’s furious…and it’s all FALL. It’s one of the only (if not THE only) sales out there where new fall merchandise is *launching* on sale. Everything included in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is brand spankin’ new merchandise, launching for fall at an exclusive, limited edition sale price. When the NSale ends, prices go up to their regular spots for the rest of the season. So it’s prime time to shop new goodies, stock up for fall + winter, and really just go ham (but thoughtfully so 😉 ) on things that you’ve had on your list or that you’ve been wanting/needing for awhile, especially since many classic slash designer pieces end up being included, too.

Let’s talk the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018 – what ya need to know, what ya need to DO, + when ya gotta do it.
- Get the Nordstrom credit card.
- This is KEY if you want to have Early Access to the sale! You can ONLY shop early if you’re . (I am – hollah!). If you don’t have a Nordstrom card, you can still *preview* everything early + add to your cart online, but you can’t actually place an order – meaning if something you lovelovelove sells out fast, you might be SOL. 🙁 Some things are restocked throughout the sale as need be, but others (many designer things, etc) are first come, first serve. So if you’re a serious shopper + plan on doing some damage, DEF consider the card! You also gain points on purchases, and when you hit certain dollar spending amounts (at any point on anything at any retailer – not just using the card at Nordstrom!), you get back “Nordstrom Notes” – AKA, free spending money to go shopping. So there’s that. Bless up. 😉 to apply for a card, if you don’t have one it – no worries, you’ll be approved in time to shop Early Access!

Keep in mind this is a sneak peek preview with only a *fraction* of the sale inside, so just use it as a way to get a gist of the sale in advance, + bookmark your faves. 😉

Other helpful tips for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale:
Want something day of? Add to your cart online + check out, then select “In Store Pick Up.” Purchase it online to ensure you get exactly what you want, and then just pick it up at your local Nordstrom store.
Take advantage of free shipping + free returns! I shop as soon as the Early Access sale opens, so needless to say…I might not be my best + brightest at 3 am. 😉 But a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do, so I just do my thang and plan to return anything that doesn’t work out. Easy peasy, no problemo – and Nordstrom is *stellar* with customer service, so you never have an issue with returns, etc.
