It was the shock heard round the world – the day that social media died. ICYMI, Facebook and Instagram went down yesterday – and everyone and their mom just about lost their minds. #RealTalk…I kinda loveloveloved it. While most of the world was frantically refreshing newsfeeds in absolute FOMO, I felt like I could BREATHE and it felt incredible.
I’ve had this post queued up for a few days now, but between everything happening online + everything happening OFFline with Olivia, we’re finally hitting “publish” a few days behind schedule. And that’s A-OK! 😉 is worth. the. wait. Not often do I try something on and think to dropping *errrr’thaaaang* to share it with you – but this piece was drop-err’thaaaang-worthy. It’s classy, it’s chic, it’s cute, and it’s surprisingly versatile for something hot pink. 😉 In the words of Elle Words, whoever said orange is the new pink is seriously disturbed. And this pretty pink jumpsuit works for SO DANG MUCH for spring, I had to share in case you’ve got anything exciting upcoming on your calendar that calls for a worthy power piece.
(Also comes in !) // (totally customizable – such a good giftable! Get 15% off with code ERICA15) // Studded heels (Great lookalike for the Valentino Rockstud heel – about $900 less!)
If we’re talkin’ power pieces, y’all…this is it.
I’ve done it. I have found the perfect spring jumpsuit. The second I pulled this bad boy out of the box, I knew it was getting an entire blog post devoted just to it. You probably know I’m a biiiiiiig jumpsuit gal – but this pretty hot pink jumpsuit just takes the cake. Whether you need a jumpsuit for work, a wedding, a fun event or a fancier night out…this is it, yo!
It’s not too deep in the front, to the point where it’s still appropriate for the office – especially with the cute little cap sleeves. The wrap-around front + bow are just the most flattering combo on the planet, since the bow hits right at your waistline. And this bad boy doesn’t wrinkle – which is amazing, since ain’t nobody got time for whipping out the iron on the reg!
And then it’s just so dang cute for anything else, like a spring wedding, bridal or baby shower, or Easter – it works for ’em all. I mentioned it’s a total power outfit, and every girl needs a power outfit.
You know…a power outfit! That one thing that makes you feel like a total badass no matter the day or time, justbecause it looks + feels that phenomenal.
A good jumpsuit has always been that for me.
Whether it was for a special event, an interview, or even a date night, if I needed something easy that was a surefire hit for confidence AND comfort, a jumpsuit it was. There’s no worry about how to sit or move with a skirt, and you can still sit criss-cross-applesauce no problemo. 😉 Bonus points because while the price point of a good jumpsuit might look like more dollar signs at first, you’re getting the whole outfit in one – so really, it ain’t that bad!
Beyond it being a power outfit, it’s also a power COLOR. This fuschia is really energetic while still being feminine, so I like to think it’s a helluvah good combo for bringing all of the best of dynamic girl power to pretty much any situation. I rounded up a few other favorite jumpsuit finds below, whether you need a jumpsuit for work, a wedding, an interview, a shower, what have you – these all fit the bill, being conservative enough but still chic AF! They’ve got some semblance of structure to them, be that a tie to highlight the waist or a cut to bring out your collarbone. Plus, they’re all varying power colors, too.
OK ALSO, before hopping off the soapbox of this look, I gotta say…how pretty are these shoes?!?! They’ve been personal faves of mine for years at this point, and for good reason. They look juuuuuuust like a much more expensive designer version (we’re talkin’ $900+). They come in other colors. They don’t rub or give blisters. And they’re showstoppers. I was actually stopped on the street before and asked if these were their designer counterpart! If you’re on the hunt for statement shoes that still have a “neutral” look to match anythign + everything in your closet, these are it.
Lastly, . A personal fave for obvious reasons. I’ve never seen name necklaces like this one; it’s dainty while still bringing some sparkle, which I’m all about. Lovelovelove this as a giftable for your girlfriends, too, whether it’s with her own name, her kid’s name, or her golden retriever’s – it’s a great option for a birthday or beyond. And with Mother’s Day coming up SO FAST (how?!), works for any mamas in the house! The girls behind the shop are darling, so I lovelovelove supporting them. And they gave a discount code for you guys exclusively – code ERICA15 will get ya 15% off! #BlessUp.
Would you rock a pink jumpsuit for work or a wedding?
Or would you steer more for black? Have you added any good jumpsuits to your closet yet this season?
