If there’s one thing I lovelovelove, it’s a wedding. I’ve gone so far as to google “how to be a stand-in bridesmaid” because your girl LOVES WEDDINGS – I love love, and I love celebrating it. From the food to the feels to the dancing and dresses, I’m here for it. So I’m stoked to share two fall wedding guest dresses (both under $50!) with you today!
Obviously so much has been re-scheduled and re-planned the past few months, and obviously things are still far from being “normal” – if we even have a “normal” anymore, right? My heart goes out SO HARD to all of my girlfriends who have had their wedding plans turned upside down this year; that’s not fun and not fair, and it undeniably stinks. My one encouragement is to remember what matters (the lifelong love – not the one day party!), and to know that all of your loved ones will be waiting with so much anticipation to celebrate like it’s going out of style once we can safely do so – we gon’ party HARD, girls! 🙂
In the meantime, for anyone that does still have a soiree on the agenda – whether that’s a fall or winter wedding on the calendar, or some other fancier shindig that requires fancier getup with a mask – I wanted to blog two fall wedding guest dresses I found this season that are GREAT options that won’t break the bank.
The second I tried them both on, I cleared space on my content calendar to make this happen, because they’re THAT good! Both wedding guest dresses are under $50, which is music to my ears! First up…
OK OK SO, this dress shocked me. Truly. I was shook.
I ordered this on a whim because I’d seen a few similar styles floating around the web, and I was curious about how the fit and quality would be on a fancy dress that wasn’t even 30 bucks. I thought for sure I’d be sending it back to Amazon and calling it a waste of time.
But y’all…I love it. Like, loveloveLOVE it. Already planning to wear it for a wedding on our calendar for NEXT OCTOBER. I’d say fit is TTS – I’m wearing a small and typically wear a small! It has a zipper on the side, too, for better fit. My mom came over to shoot these with me and she was doubtful when she saw the dress laying out because it looked kinda awkward/drapey/etc, but she was just as shocked with it on as me! How gorgeous would the red be for a fancy holiday bash???
And for the record, I saw this exact same style of dress at a boutique for TWICE THE PRICE, so this is a true steal here! Not even $28 on Prime AND there’s a 5% off coupon you can additionally apply at checkout. Bless up.
OK AND NOW, the second affordable fall wedding guest dress that I lovelovelove this season…
This second fall wedding guest dress option is a stunner – it could even work as a gown for a more formal affair. The color is deep and rich, the belt is flattering, the bell sleeves are great for the season, and the side slit up the leg makes a statement. Besides navy, it also comes in a dusty blue, burgundy, + mauve. It’s selling out FAST, but hop on the waitlist if you don’t see your size in stock.
Note that it *does* run longer; I’m about 5′ 6″ and with heels it’s still long on me, so just plan for a hem if you’re shorter than me! And so that I’m not the actual worst showing you a gorgeous dress that’s all sold out (boo), here are a few more under $50 options from the same retailer, as well as some from another favorite boutique, so that you can add something similar to cart! (For anything from Pink Lily, drop code ERICA15 to get an extra 15% off! Yay!)
Which is your favorite fall wedding guest dress option: 1 or 2?
Do you have weddings or other fancy affairs on the calendar for 2021 yet?
