Welp, this month has been…weird. I mean, did any of us lovelovelove March? Anyone? No? Cool cool.
Really, what a sh*tshow. And what better way to celebrate a sh*tshow then with more sh*t…albeit, this time it’s COOL sh*t I lovelovelove. See what I did there? 😉 Hopefully sharing some of the little things that brought a smile to my face this month in the midst of some serious crap will help lighten your load, too, if only for a hot sec. There are some new books for your reading list, Golden Goose dupes, $22 tie dye, beauty buys + more. Treat yo’self to something just for you, justbecause this month was a rough one and you deserve it.
You might’ve heard it once or twice (only 😉 ), but…I WROTE A BOOK. And it’s now available for pre-order on Amazon.com and on Barnes and Noble – EEEP! Caffeinate Your Soul has been my book baby for so long now, and I can’t believe it’s finally time to share it with you. I mean, I wrote it FOR you. So I hope you lovelovelove it as much as I do. 🙂
Caffeinate Your Soul officially releases on May 5th, so that’s when shipping starts, but pre-orders now mean SO MUCH for things like book ratings, etc, so that WHEN it’s officially released, other folks know about it, too! So I can’t say it enough – THANKYOUSOMUCH to every single one of you who has already grabbed your copy.
I swore to the heavens that I’d never get on TikTok and…here we are. Y’all I kid you not, I thought this app was just the dumbest new thing for young thugs (aka teenagers) and that I’d be nothing less of a grandmother on the app, making a fool of myself dancing like a savage (if you know you know). AND HERE WE ARE.
OK OK…it’s actually really freaking fun. It’s currently the most popular app in the world, probably because it’s the BEST mental escape from, well, reality right now. It’s a hodge podge of all the things, from trending dances to funny sketches, to animals and babies because every great app has those, right?
Admittedly, I still don’t know how it works. But it’s a fun time and I’m here for it. Come hang out with me on TikTok, same username different place (@ericaligenza).
3.) Tie dye top
If you’ve seen me wearing this specific shirt no less than three times this week alone…I’m not even sorry. I’ve had it on repeat because it’s just SO cozy, and also obnoxiously cute. Tie dye is so hot right now it flies off of every shelf, which must make the 90’s proud. 😉 It’s this French terry material which is lighter weight than traditional fleece, making it perfect loungewear for this time of year when temperatures can fluctuate so much heading into springtime. Also lovelovelove the pretty blue color, and that the sleeves come long + cuffed!
Also…only $22. A STEAL.
I’m wearing my regular size (small), but sizing up one would make it instantly long enough to cover your butt fully, in case you wanna pair with leggings like that!

This line is no new news, but was definitely worth the Monthly Favorites cut. The 360 bra has got back and side-smoothing technology and a disappearing neckline for perfect coverage without any lines or creases (because we all hate when you’ve got a bra line right smack dab in the middle of your boob, amiright?). I triple checked with the brand before ordering this bra to make sure it was truly “vanishing” for all chest sizes and they assured me it was – and they were right. No weird cupping or awkward gaping, no overflow or pinching – nada.
The Vanishing 360 panties are also SO GOOD and a new favorite; they’re seamless and truly invisible, yes, but they also stay in place thanks to exposed spandex on the inside of the butt side, which I have NEVER seen before in underwear.
AND BONUS, I just saw everything is an extra 30% off right now with code 76845 at checkout!
I raved about these in this post and I’m so sad they’re currently sold out! BUT, had to mention because they’re in the top ten faves of the month. Glycolic acid has always been one of my favorite skincare ingredients because of it’s use as a more gentle chemical exfoliant. It boosts skin cell turnover and also works to unclog pores, clear off dead skin…basically, all the things you want/need for a glowier, healthier complexion.
These pads in particular are a 10% blend of Glycolic + Lactic acids, and they specifically target fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and imperfections to leave you fresher + brighter than before (bless up). They’ve also got Hyaluronic acid and Niacinamide inside for adding moisture, which is so important with a product like this that could otherwise be a more intense clarifying treatment – so you’re not stripping your skin at all, and instead just doing a cleanse, clear out, and clean up all in one!
ALSO, Colleen’s team has so graciously given code ERICA20 for y’all to save 20% on her products whenever, justbecause I lovelovelove them so much!
I mentioned last month how I couldn’t believe it’s taken me this long to mention this primer – like, I’m shocked at myself. Ha! CLEARLY it’s loveloveloved well since it’s a *wee* bit beat and almost used up. (No worries, I’ve got another one already on deck ready to go 😉 ). At first I was clueless what the whole “filter” thing meant. Girls all over my Instagram feed were saying this thing was like this magical little potion in a bottle that you could wear by itself on a no makeup day, and I was just confused why people were wearing makeup primers at all without makeup on top.
And then…I got it.
Face Filter is in a league of its own. It’s a buildable formula with these special skin-blurring properties or “glow particles” that actually leave you looking like you’ve got glowy, sun-kissed, radiant skin. It’s slightly tinted on your skin, which I actually didn’t realize until I had wiped some off with a tissue to test.
It comes out of the tube this glowy white serum-like consistency. You put it on, and it blends into your skin with this slight tint + sheen. Only when I removed it did I even put two and two together that it was Face Filter in the first place – so it’s not like it looks fake or unnatural on your skin when you’re looking in the mirror.
It’s meant to smooth the look of uneven skin tone the same way a filter might on social media. But it’s packed with good-for-you probiotics and superfoods like licorice + chia seeds to help balance and nourish your skin, too. Also won’t clog your pores (important).
(P.S. My discount code is always COMINGUPROSES for 15% off any Tula product, so that you can save some $$$ since I lovelovelove + recommend them so much – I’ve been using Tula products for YEARS!)
Note the before-and-after effect here! Face Filter comes out white on the left, but rubs in to be the fleshy, dewy finish on the right!
I’m the world’s biggest jumpsuit fan, and this little $30 number was a must-have for me for quarantine life especially. It’s a soft jersey knit, so it’s super comfortable. I lovelovelove its versatility, that I can pair it with pretty mules, easy sneakers, cute sandals – anything goes. Still some sizes in stock, and you can always sign up for a waitlist notification for restocks! Things sell out SO FAST from this boutique so if you see something you like…TREAT YO’SELF.
You’ll be hearing more about this duo reaaaaaaal soon ;). But in the meantime, I had to share a lil’ sneak peek! They’re such a powerhouse couple for extending your styles between wash days, which we all know is a pasttime of mine in and of itself. HA. But first, the Never Tell dry shampoo – I get they don’t want me to tell you about it, but friends don’t let friends have bad hair days, right? So I must tell you. Because it’s great for good hair days. 😉 It’s one of my favorite dry shampoos for brunettes, which I shared a few months back, because it’s effective + invisible (sans any bad crap inside – no parabens or sulfates!).
But this dry conditioner is newer-to-me, and it was lovelovelove at first spray. First up, it smells INCREDIBLE. Truly incredible. My mom smelled it and was like WHOA that smells good!!! I wish it came in body butter form. But it’s also packed with great ingredients (like Omega-9, pro-vitamin B5, and jojoba oil!) to help nourish + condition your hair between shampooing + styling.
Especially since they’re both affordable + at the drugstore, stock up!
I first heard about this book on a podcast interview with the author. I was driving while listening and I kid you not, I pulled over so that I could add it to my Amazon cart THAT VERY SECOND.
This author is INSANE in the best sense of the word. His story is so unbelievable, I had to get his book the day it released to read more. It’s the autobiography/memoir of the man who broke the world record for first solo Antarctic trek. All about rejecting limits, beating obstacles, pushing past fear, and conquering your own biggest setback: your own mind.
10.) Golden Goose dupes
I always swore I’d NEVER be caught dead in $600 sneakers that intentionally look dirty (aka, Golden Gooses). I mean, what? It’s like when Kanye launched a “luxury” line of ripped sweats.
BUT, I have been super into the little white sneaker trend, and something about the Golden Goose style has stuck on me lately – albeit, still wouldn’t be caught dead in the real deal. 😉 I’ve collected enough Golden Goose dupes at this point for an upcoming DUPED series coming to a blog near you ;), but in the meantime, I’ve had these on repeat! They’re reaaaaally comfy and actually not too distressed at all, where they look more like cute white kicks than true Golden Goose dupes.
