October is ahead in the running for my-favorite-month-of-all-time. All holidays aside, I’m all on board the fall-lovin’ bandwagon, and October is just overflowing with all of fall’s best. It’s like one big piñata of fun, if piñatas were filled with heavy sweaters and pumpkins and cups of flavored coffees. (Can I just say I would not want to be the sucker standing underneath that fall piñata when it cracked? I digress.)
Right now, I’m wearing a shirt that says “Money.” and sipping a cup of flavored coffee (toldja it’s the spirit of fall, y’all!), dripping it on my shirt while listening to a webinar and studying Nutrition. It’s that kind of day, folks. And that’s totally OK.
Because, I stumbled upon some real treasures on the web in September, and I’m so excited to share them with you that I’m just going to cut right to the chase.
There’s a powerful new take on a mirror and a proposal, both of which will make you cry. There’s a guide on beating laziness and a guide on negotiating better, both of which will boost your confidence. There’s a collection of 90’s fads that you’re so not over (hello, Dunkaroos), a t-shirt that’s just as good as its message, and the ladies brunch line-up of your dreams. And there’s a kitten. Cuddling with its stuffed animal. (You can start crying now, been there done that, not judging).

1. What would your mirror say if it could talk to you? These ladies found out. (themetapicture.com)

I cannot stress this video enough. You will cry. And you will think of yourself and your body differently. In the most beautiful, simplistic way. Click the link above and be kind to yourself.
2. The most charmingly accurate depiction of a stellar ladies’ brunch. (acupoftay.com)

If all of the most fabulously hilarious powerhouse women in Hollywood and the media got together for French toast and mimosas, it would probably go a little something like this.
3. A few tips on nailing that whole “negotiation” ordeal. (thoughtcatalog.com)

It’s not something to fear…you too can negotiate.
4. For the biggest AWWWW you’ll have possibly ever. Yeah, ever.
5. How to stop being lazy. For those days when Netflix sounds so much better than life. (bakadesuyo.com)

On achieving work/life balance, scheduling your time, and living a stress-free life.
6. A good shirt. Literally. (mycentsofstyle.com)

Be the change you wish to see in the world, right? Well, you want good change. Go be the good.
7. The Babysitters’ Club. Marykate and Ashley. Dunkaroos. You know the 90’s when you see it. (hercampus.com)

If you didn’t dunk at least once, did you even have a childhood?
8. One of the most beautiful proposals I’ve ever seen. First, get tissues. Second, prepare to use them. (6abc.com)
