Cool Sh*t I Lovelovelove – March 2018

It’s cool, March is just almost over. Nobody panic. We’re a quarter way through 2018. One quarter down, 3 to go. One quarter closer to CHRISTMAS. Oy.

Is your week off to a good start?

I, for one, am having an interesting one. For me, this week consists of a ton of work catch-up, meetings, some major spring cleaning, a trip to the OBGYN (joy), Bible Study, a shoot day, church for Holy Week, and some panic about upcoming projects. Just your usual week in the life. HA. OH, also an Instagram Live tonight! If you’re around on the ‘gram, stop by with your wine + say hi. 🙂

Now, for some Links I Love, stuffs on sale, Things I Love, etc etc etc.

I feel like it’s worth noting that this lil’ section of 5 links might get lost in the shuffle month-to-month…but they’re all so good. Highly recommend opening in a new tab + reading throughout the day…I *swear* it’ll be worth your while. 😉

Pink ruffle dress

This dress is just so me. It’s bright, it’s fun, it’s classy, it’s girly, it’s a party on your body! Also comes in black + ivory, though, if hot pink ain’t yo’ thaaaang. 😉 This is *so cute* in the “antique white” for any upcoming spring showers – baby or bridal – or spring weddings or events. It’s made really well, zips up, and hits right above the knee…so it’s a party, but it’s a kinda sorta professional party. 😉

It’s also on sale right now in both the pink and the black, and you can take an additional 15% off with code SALE.

Morrocanoil hair treatment

Morrocanoil has always been one of my fave, more luxe haircare brands. I got into them more extensively than ever before recently since I underwent a bit of a hair transformation; since I went through the 5-hour process of a salon balayage, I’m *listening* to my stylist and using color-friendly products! Morrocanoil had sent me a shampoo/conditioner duo a bit back, and they’re great for color-treated hair (because they’re sulfate-free!), AND my stylist just began a salon partnership with the brand, so it made sense to swap to those bottles ASAP with my new ‘do.

I had always loveloveloved their hair treatment, but TBH I was just running on my little travel size for all it was worth.

Now that I’ve got the big bottle…watch out, world.

I have a more oily scalp usually (and also try to extend washes as long as possible). But applying a drop or two through the body of my hair is just soooooo so good.

Sugarfina Sugar Lips

You guys…these Sugarfina bad babes are hands down my new favorite candy of all time. AND THAT IS A HUGE STATEMENT, I KNOW. But OMG. I’ve been a Sour Patch girl for forever. But I like these more!!! First off, Sugarfina Sugar Lips are bigger, and bigger is better. Second, they’re the perfect combo of sour + sweet. Third, the 3 flavor varieties in the pack are each *yum* – they come in watermelon, strawberry, and cherry. No one is better than the other, I think, which means you can eat them all and be happy instead of waiting for the pink one or only picking out the blues. 😉

Seriously addicting – don’t say I didn’t warn ya! Also, Sugarfina goodies in general make a *great* gift for really any occasion, especially if she’s got a sweet tooth.

P.S. Got these through Wikibuy – it’s a website slash Chrome extension that helps ya find good deals across the web! #BlessUp

Dr. Scholl’s mules

If you follow along on Instastories, chances are, you’ve seen these bad boysoh, I dunno – 14 times in the past month?? Ha! It’s not my fault they’re so dang comfortable. Dr. Scholl’s, ya did it again, my friend.

Can we talk about how stinkin’ CUTE these are for being Dr. Scholl’s, too??? They have *majorly* stepped up the cute game. I used to think (as did the rest of the female world, I’m sure), that they were more for *older* women with orthopedic issues. Right??? Ha! These feel like a partnership with a fashion designer or something, because they’re as comfy as orthpedic support shoes must be and just so cute, too. Bless. They’re definitely the comfiest mules I own (a tad bit comfier than even these favorites that I’ve talked about a bunch before), I think because of the cushioning around the ball of your foot.

I just. keep. wearing. them.

Can’t stop won’t stop.

#AddToCart.

P.S. They come in this grey suede that I have, as well as a beige suede, black suede, + a black leather, too!

P.P.S. They’re $39.99. Most other mules I’ve seen (slash bought) are $50+ at LEAST, if not $70+…these are amazeballs.

Venofye Vitamin C serum

I’m so happy that you guys enjoyed learning about Venofye in my bee venom skincare post this month! Isn’t it cool?!?! It’s probably the most #science post on CUR to date, and I’m here for it.

ICYMI, Venofye is a line of bee venom skincare that I had the *pleasure* of trying – and I used it pretty much exclusively for my morning AND nighttime skincare routines since receiving the package at the beginning of February.

This product in particular is my all-time fave from the Queen Bee line that I was testing. They say it’s Vitamin C, but I swear it’s actually liquid gold.

This serum is SO soft + luxurious. Also…I really can’t stress this enough. My skin was just about the best it’s ever been in the solid month where I was using Venofye products exclusively. After publishing my Venofye review, I tried swapping a few products in + out of my routine since I have more on the list to test – but my skin flared up almost immediately. It went back to have splotchier patches, little breakouts here + there, texture randomly…no bueno. This stuff works SO WELL it ain’t even funny.

Yes, it’s super pricey. But yes, it’s super worth it. Add to your wishlist or #TreatYoSelf – you deserve it. 😉
