Is it just me, or did we actually blink and 2018 came + went? WOWZAS. What a year. I, for one, am pretty friggin’ glad this year is almost done. It’s been a rough one, folks (although Olivia will always be a highlight, through all the craziness). We’re hopeful that the year will end on a high, though, with Liv home before New Years. FINGERS CROSSED, FRIENDS. Onward to some Cool Sh*t I Lovelovelove, because this month is jam packed.

1.)

This is a new-to-me boutique this month, and I’m SO glad I finally got to try out a few pieces. First off, . Is it just me, or does it feel strangely on brand for CUR??? 😉 I especially lovelovelove it since it’s not too heavy. Not sure about you, but I can’t *stand* getting overheated – and it seems to happen all the time come winter, since there’s such a stark difference between indoor + outdoor temps. This one is perf since it transitions well both ways! And it’s adorable, so there’s that.

I also got + . Can we talk about ?!?! This thing could actually not be more “me” if it tried. I friggin’ loveloveLOVE a good jumpsuit. It’s my total go-to power piece, and I often prefer a jumpsuit over a dress since there’s just so much more room for activities. This one is the *softest* squishy material that doesn’t wrinkle, even if you legit throw it in the corner of a room in a pile. So obvi, favorite fabric ever. It’s so insanely flattering, too – the top stays put, so no unwanted boobage, and it clings in all the right places. A+. Actually run before this bad boy sells out. (I’m sure it will).

Then – just so fun! And $36?! SOLD. Looks a bit like Burberry to me, and y’all know how much I lovelovelove me a good designer lookalike. 😉 Comes in this pretty tan-based plaid, but also + ! Everything from Pink Lily is SO well priced + well made. Sometimes boutiques can be hit or miss, I think, since markups are STEEP. But Pink Lily so far has nothing but impressed me with the quality for the price – 100% worth it.

Joules is a British brand that’s just THE cutest. They’ve got lots bright florals + fun patterns, and insanely cute rain gear especially. These kicks are such Erica kicks. I mean, how much leopard is too much leopard? The limit does not exist. SUPER comfy for walking around all day, too!

3.)

Winter wreaks HAVOC on my lips – you, too? It’s like I need perpetual re-hydration. The product description online says, “A balm that brings your skin’s natural color to life with the richest, glossiest hydration imaginable.” Accurate. This lip balm is a luxe lippy that legit works. And I have approximately 52 too many, so I should know. I sleep in it every night, and you wake up with it still on – that’s how good it is, and you know it’s moisturizing all night long then!

Because of how great this stuff is, I ended up also picking up – yup, a lip clay mask. How cool, amiright?? I’ve only tested it once so far, but so far so good – will keep ya posted with results. 😉 Meanwhile I’ll just be shopping , since they do the dang thing.

4.) Schitt’s Creek

DEAR HEAVENS, LOVELOVELOVE SCHITT’S CREEK. And I usually try to contain my caps lock excitement, so you *know* it’s good. 😉 This is such a hidden gem on Netflix. I first heard about it from a blogger friend who was *raving*, saying she + her hubby binged the whole season. Typically it takes a hot sec for J + I to really get into a show and have it be binge-worthy…but Schitt’s Creek is that.

It is friggin’ FUNNY.

Some perspective:

We started watching it while everything with Olivia was happening in the hospital. So, not the happiest of times in our household. We were perpetually stressed, anxious, scared, + exhausted.

We’d come home from the hospital, watch a ~25 minute episode, and LAUGH. OUT. LOUD.

The characters are just fabulously developed + each is so distinct. Catherine O’Hara is one of the lead females – whom you’ll recognize if you watched Home Alone this holiday season. 😉 Watched the whole fourth season over the span of Christmas Eve + Christmas Day. Can’t wait for Season 5. Bring it on.

I was skeptical of this hair mask initially. It takes a lot for me to think a one-time-use product is truly worth it. I mean, how often do you see real results in just one use?

Well, apparently now.

After using this mask, my hair felt like actual SILK. I kid you not. And I’ve definitely got some natural texture to my hair, so that’s saying something. Typically, after my shampoo, I *have* to heat style via curling or straightening to have some sorta manageable style going for the week, lest everything look lackluster + frizzy. Didn’t have to with this. It was, dare I say, probably the best conditioning “treatment” I’ve tried thus far. Very excited to try it again since it had such great success the first time around, to make the success sticks! 😉

Granted, the cap can be a bit missy (and that’s where some of its negative reviews come into play). The treatment comes in a plastic-y shower cap sorta thing, which you’re supposed to open by the plastic sticker tab, get over your head, massage in, + let sit for ~15 minutes in the shower. I made the mistake of not putting my hair UP before getting it soaking wet + attempting this cap. So I was upside down, dripping everywhere, near drowning myself to get all of my wet hair into the cap. HA. But if I still managed to make it happen + have results with my totally not expert technique, YOU CAN, TOO.

6.) Arbonne Fizzy drinks

One of my best girlfriends became an Arbonne rep this year, and y’all…she’s got me hooked. She came over one day and was drinking something WILD – it looked neon, but apparently gave all sorta natural energy. It fizzed. And…it was DELISH.

She was drinking it instead of coffee – and it was hydrating, too, since you had a fizzy drink packet to your H2O. Claims to enhance cognitiev performance, promote endurance, enhance motor performance, + reduce fatigue. Contains antioxidants + a botanical blend of green tea, guarana, + ginseng, as well as B vitamins + chromium to boost energy.

Y’all, I think there’s also actually crack in this stuff, because…ADDICTING.

I have the green apple + promegranate so far, and drink one a day.

It you’re someone who a.) needs extra motivation to drink more water (hello, New Year’s Resolutions!), and/or b.) needs extra energy but doesn’t wanna be totally reliant on coffee constantly…sign a sistah up for these bad boys.

7.) Zenni glasses

Remember this blog post??? Yup, the Zenni lovelovelove is STRONG. I haven’t worn glasses this much in my LIFE as I have this month. I got the two pairs I shared in that post, and I’ve been alternating them depending on my mood. Ha! But, I’m complimented *constantly* on them. They’re so unexpectedly cool, but classic at the same time. And they’re SO. INSANELY. AFFORDABLE. Y’all, where the heck can you get prescription glasses for under $50?!?! I’ve got two pairs, my aunt has EIGHT, and my hubby is about to hop on the Zenni bandwagon, too. Lord help us all. 😉 Bonus: They’ve currently got a 30% off Winter Sale happening (bless up), + their Best of 2018 styles list was released!

Before this season, I had not ONE Anastasia Beverly Hills product on my makeup vanity. Not a ONE. Which is nutso, since at least two of my best friends are utterly obsessed with the brand and I’ve heard from every beauty guru and her mother about fabulous product recommendations. So I pulled the trigger on this palette – and am so glad I did. The shades included are all right up my alley – super versatile + wearable for everyday, but easily played up for a night out or more glam look.

It’s a good mix of mattes + shimmers, I think, and the pigmentation on the shades is BOMB. Clearly, I wear this palette hard. 😉

As seen styled here! These keep going in + out of stock faster than restocked TVs on Black Friday. So, stay on the watch! Super into the velvet base here, and that there aren’t sequins ALL over. They just feel classy and not cheesy or kiddish in the *slightest*. And girlfriend loveloveloves a good sequin piece! But, I’m a big big fan of any sequin things that don’t scratch in any way, shape or form, and these do not. I recently bought these sequin joggers for under $25 from Amazon + this less than $40 sequin blazer (which I wore for Christmas Day! Woo!), and am obsessed.

Introducing, the saving grace for all moms (slash women slash people, period) in want/need of quick meals that are a.) from the freezer but b.) actually healthy. First off, they’re so fast. Just grab acup from the freezer, microwave or stovetop, and VOILA. Second, they’re so healthy. All cups are just packed with superfood ingredients – that’s it. Third, they’ve got harvest cups that are more of a meal, as well as smoothies. #Options. Fourth, you just pick out your cups online and they arrive on your doorstep pre-portioned + ready to be frozen or blended. Fifth, you can order weekly or monthly for a set of cups – and they’re affordable. I mean, one harvest cup is an EASY lunch for me. It’s a meal. And in the monthly box, it comes out to $6.99 a cup. Where the heck else can you get lunch for $6.99 that’s that. stinkin. HEALTHY?!? Sixth, besides harvest bowls + smoothies (the two things I’ve tried so far myself), Daily Harvest has lattes, soups, oat bowls, + chia bowls. Can we say YUM.

I can be so bad at stopping work altogether to go make up a full lunch for myself some days, so Daily Harvest has been GREAT to just literally grab n’ go.

They’ve been a lifesaver since I’ve been dairy-free for Liv, too, since the cups are full of such pure ingredients – literally, vegetables. And the occasional grain or something.
