My Favorite $26 Top

POP QUIZ: When was the last time you put on a piece of clothing that made you feel pretty? And I don’t just mean pretty.

I mean pretty, oh so pretty, a la Maria from West Side Story where you’re skipping down the freaking STREET because you’re just feelin’ your look THAT MUCH.

is that for me. And you will NOT believe where it’s from…

Or maybe you will, if you caught my last Walmart fashion haul. 😉

This top just does it all for me. It’s the prettiest polka dot peplum, which is so flattering thanks to the cinched waist. The slight puffed sleeve at the shoulder feels powerful, while the cinched sleeve feels chic. The neckline is an easy V – flattering without being too revealing (there’s a clasp there!).

I lovelovelove how easily it can transition seasons; paired with white jeans now makes for a great spring style, but throw on darker denim come fall and you’ll feel festive then, too. Or, wear with black ponte pants and add a faux leather jacket on top for an edgier night out look – it’s surprisingly versatile with more options than you’d essentially think possible with one polka dot top!

It’s a beautiful silky-soft satin that feels great on your skin. HIGHLY recommend for my teachers in the house, or any other office job or 9-to-5 since it’s cute for business casual wear – but also obviously cute for a date night or chic Sunday brunch!

I’m wearing a small here and I’d say it fits TTS, although it does get snugger on the arms where the cinching is – so just keep that in mind. 🙂

If you like the cut but a polka dot top isn’t your jam, it does come in two other pretty prints – a fun leopard and a dainty floral:

AND if you lovelovelove the polka dot top but would prefer it in dress form, there’s that for ya, too!

A random note on the dainty gold necklace I’m wearing here, too – because I just adore it. It’s from this incredible company called ABLE – which I featured in a past Cool Sh*t I Lovelovelove post, too. ABLE is very missionally-focused with a goal of uplifting women out of poverty and wmpoering them through employment + education. My little gold square here says “time to thrive” (SO FITTING, amiright?!) – it’s a customizable necklace, so you can add your favorite phrase or quote, or also a name, initials, etc! AND they were kind enough to extend discount code ERICA20 for you to save 20% on your order, so treat yo’self knowing it’s such an incredible company to support. 🙂
