So here’s the deal: there are approximately a hundred and one ways to wear Spanx faux leather leggings. They’re no stranger to CUR – here we styled Spanx leather leggings three ways, and here are leather leggings six more ways for additional style inspo! They’ve been part of Cool Sh*t I Lovelovelove of course, too, and they’re on repeat in my weekly wardrobes the second the temps drop below 65. Spanx faux leather leggings are truly THE pant of the season. I sing their praises from the highest heights for good reason – they’re just that good, yo.
They’re crazy comfortable – like wearing black leggings every day, but with the shapewear “suck in” that’s known + loveloveloved from Spanx
They’re crazy warm; I actually prefer them over denim in the colder months in Philly for that reason!
They’re crazy versatile, as evident by how many different looks we’ve got goin’ on with a few quick outfit changes.
So if you DON’T have a pair of Spanx faux leather leggings already in your closet – whatcha waiting for?! Now’s the time to pull the trigger, especially since they’re currently and being price-matched . (Bless up).
For sizing reference, I wear a small regular – I’m 5′ 7″ and they do have some extra material on the bottom. I don’t mind that at all personally, since it lets me shift fabric up or down to get the most comfortable, perfect fit; it’s nice feeling like you’re not going to bust a seam if you squat. 😉 But if you’re on the shorter side – I’d say 5’5″ or under – , instead!
Spanx faux leather leggings 6 Ways
#1:
An easy long-sleeved with a distressed . Super classic, basic fall look – one easily replicable with things already in your closet! This exact striped tee is sold out from a few NSALE’s ago, but it’s a classic piece I try to grab each sale since it’s always on repeat. My exact booties are sold out right now, but are similar + on sale!!!
#2:
A festive (exact one sold out, similar linked) with tight thigh-. Great for transitioning into the actual holiday season, or a good date night out look until then! Any tighter boot looks fabulous with the Spanx, especially with the contrast of the crackled shine.
#3:
A slightly slouchy (exact one sold out, similar linked!) with booties! These booties are a favorite come fall/winter and are true to the Dr. Scholl’s name with comfort – they’re made for walkin’. Another version of this same look would be to wear a basic white or black tee, and tie the plaid flannel around your waist, covering your booty and adding a fun twist!
#4:
My fave , a baseball hat + Golden Goose dupes. A go-to look right here for running around with Liv and just living that mom life! (Get 15% off my sweatshirt with code ERICA15 at checkout – woo!)
#5:
This lightweight terry with – a great casual combo with Spanx faux leather leggings. The pullover is juuuust long enough to cover yo’ booty, so it’s a good transitional look as we head from summer into fall.
#6:
A good long cowl neck with camo and blue light glasses – lovelovelove this combo for working at home! ICYMI, these slip-on’s are still stocked + on sale and SO DANG GOOD. I’m so impressed – they’ve got fabulous arch support if you’ve got high arches in your feet like me!
And if they’re sold out at Nordstrom when you go to grab a pair, since they’re price-matched and fully stocked in all sizes in petite, regular AND tall!
