‘Tis the season – swimsuit season. With Memorial Day right around the corner already (how?!) and temperatures FINALLY heating up in the Northeast, we can start planning vacations and shopping swimmies. Today, we’re talkin’ my favorite Amazon bikinis specifically – 7 swimsuits I’ve collected over the years that I keep around and on repeat each swim season for good reason. If bikinis aren’t your jam, no worries – here are some of my favorite one piece swimsuits from Amazon, as well as a few more modest swimsuits with fuller coverage (both one AND two pieces). All of the Amazon bikinis I’m sharing below have removable cups inside, as that’s something I personally prefer in my swimwear; I’m also noting any adjustability in straps and/or the cheekiness of bottoms, since those are pain points when swimsuit shopping for many. Hope this serves as a helpful guide to pickup a few new fun swimmies for the season!
1.) High-waisted with Poms – $29
If I HAD to pick one favorite of the bunch to universally recommend, it’d be this one, for a few reasons. 1.) It’s equal parts flattering, fun, and feminine. The high waist is comfortable, the adjustable top can fit varying chest sizes (shoutout to my fellow itty bitty titty committee members 😉 ), and the price is right. Beyond that, it’s a more affordable alternative to this popular Revolve suit…which costs $78 for the bottoms alone. I accidentally discovered that the top is technically flippable; you can turn it so the poms are at your rib cage, or turn so the poms are at your boobs like I did in this reel – it works!
I have it in red (which I wore in Costa Rica!) AND leopard and would gladly grab another because it’s pretty darn foolproof and hella cute. It’s a halter-style bikini top that ties at both the neck and ribs for an adjustable fit, and the bottoms are full coverage.
2.) Black underboob – $29
Apologies for the direct title for this one, but it is what it is. HA. Granted, I don’t have much underboob to offer, but it’s definitely a sexier vibe if you’re gifted up top without needing fidgeting or adjusting throughout the day. This is a cheekier bottom, too – and I will say, my bottoms don’t seem like they have that slight V-shape that they do in the picture on Amazon. But regardless, it’s a cute suit that I like digging out for trips with J and not as much when I’m in “mom mode.” 😉
3.) Scalloped bikini – $16 (currently 68% off!)
I think the fabric on this one feels “cheaper” than some of the others since it has some polyester in the material makeup, but it’s still a good suit; I have it in an off-shoulder scallop option from a few summers ago still, and it’s held up fine for me. It just doesn’t have the exact same “spandex-y” feel that some of the others too! But I’m a big fan of the scallop detailing, and there’s a nice collection of slightly varying styles depending on whether you prefer thicker straps up top, more of a bandeau-style look (but with straps), printed bottoms, etc…there are literally 47 styles to choose from, so after you recover from choice paralysis, you’ll have plenty of options to float your boat. 😉
4.) Neon colorblock – $31
This one has the sportiest look of the bunch, but it’s still a *bit* cheeky on the bottom – but not so much that you can’t comfortably run around in it. I lovelovelove the different neon colorblocking options; it would probably be suuuuuper comfortable if you’re biggest busted because it’ll keep the girls locked! It’s high waisted but not too snug, the neon coloring will make ya look/feel tanner, and there are some glowing reviews calling it “seriously the best bikini I’ve ever owned” – so it’s got a stamp of approval in the world of Amazon bikinis.
5.) High waisted Criss cross– $33
I was a bit nervous about how this top would work on me because I’m smaller up top; some of the pictures made it seem like it’s better suited for a bigger bust to sortof “sit up” in there, and mine just don’t do that LOL. BUT, it actually works out really well – it’s just a bit fuller coverage on me. Especially since the bottoms are higher waisted and fuller coverage, too (though not *totally* full coverage on your booty), it’s a good one for running around with the OG.
Lots of cute colors + prints to choose from – and it makes for a really flexible, personalized fit since you can adjust the top straps and also adjust the criss crossing ties to your liking.
6.) High Waisted Front Knot – $29

7.) Strappy strappy – $29
I’d say this top takes the most “adjusting” of the bunch since the back is a slightly more complicated strap job, but I have full faith you can figure it out; I just put the whole thing over my head and reach behind to tie/tighten the knot if J isn’t around to help a wifey out. I got my teal/striped Amazon bikini awhile back, but if I had to choose today, I’d definitely go with this one or this one – SO CUTE. Also a good option for smaller chested girls!
