Every year I swear I’m not gonna be that girl who’s banking on the new year for a fresh start. I always like to think that every single week – heck, every single day – is an opportunity to start anew…because it is! We shouldn’t be held to a big sparkly ball dropping to justify making necessary changes in our lives and/or making our dreams come true. We should totally, completely, 100% make it happen regardless of what’s on the calendar, or what’s happening in Times Square NYC.
But…I’m a sucker.
And right now, I’m TOTALLY sucked into end-of-year mode, reflecting + revisiting + rethinking strategies and ideas and habits to figure out what worked, what didn’t, and what the heck I want my plan to be for 2018. New-year-new-me amiright? 😉
SO, a biggie post later this week will detail more of that, once I get my thoughts together-ish enough for a comprehensive post that can be genuinely helpful to you and not just a word vomit of my mental rolodex. HA.
ANYWAYS. In starting to prepare for all of the above, I got to scrolling back through the archives of CUR 2017. First off…oy. Some huuuuuuge changes + growth happened this year, for which I’m *hella* grateful. Second…there’s a lot in there! So today, I’m rounding up some of the best-of-the-best from Coming Up Roses – your personal favorites, my personal favorites, the data’s personal favorites, the works. Everything will open in a new tab, so feel free to scroll through + open up whatever floats yo’ boat. Grab yo’ coffee, ’cause this one’s loaded. 😉

What did you like the most from Coming Up Roses in 2017? What do you want more of in the future?
Let me know in a comment down below, wouldja? I’m neck-deep in planning 2018 (!!!), and I want it to be driven entirely by what YOU wanna see. Since, ya know, you’re kinda really hella important around these rosy parts. 😉
Now to get sappy for a hot sec…
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU.
THANK YOU to every single one of you who has ever read a word of Coming Up Roses. It’s entirely because of you that I get to do what I lovelovelove on the reg, and I’m so aware of that it makes me all teary-eyed typing this out. I started CUR in the hopes of creating something more than your average “lifestyle” blog on the internet, of which there are approximately a million. I really wanted (slash want) it to be a place that you really look forward to coming to every morning. Something that you can look forward to reading. Something fun, something inspiring, something real that can genuinely help you in your own everyday life, whether it’s with a more “frivolous” pursuit – like finding the perfect pair of jeans – or a more serious pursuit, like taking the first (or next) step in making a very big dream or goal come to fruition.
I want to be there with you through it all, helping you make your own life blossom into exactly what it could be.
So I thank you – thankyouthankyouthankyou – for being a part of this journey with me.
It really does feel like I know so many of you, and your emails, comments, + direct messages never fail to make me smile + completely re-light the fire in me to just become better for you, so that I can truly serve you + create something worth seeing, worth taking time the few minutes outta your day.
I promise to never stop trying – to never stop creating, and never stop growing + blossoming, to help you do the same.
We’re worth it.
YOU are worth it.
Thank you.
